This is just tragic. Her behavior screams schizophrenia to me, something that really doesn't show up until people in in their 20s/early 30s. Her worsening mind combined with losing her partner and being sent to a shitty psych ward did nothing to help her addictions (probably using the weed and alcohol as a form of self-medication) and tbh I'm surprised she managed to keep her job as long as she did. While it seems doubtful she'll get help I really hope she does. What's really scary is this is just one person who got covered by local news. There's probably a lot more untreated people out there discarded because we have zero meaningful social safety net in the US
