Did the exact same trip last saturday, my pack was 17kg! , camped at the jungle, did east summit but was clagged in only a few glimpses from the summit , river crossing was deep too, took us about 4 plus hours rocks were wet and slippery heaps of ticks too legs still sore a week later😂

Are bikes allowed in any of these areas you're going to mate? Would love to do a trip out that way on the bike.
