To be honest everyone is talking about AAS. So far i did not see someone put down business capabilities functional capabilities and where does AAS sit and when it interacts with MES with PLM with ERP with controls. Do we still need MES and PLM? So far everryone talks about use cases and model and sub model. Alot of things are already represented digitally. This ambiguity must be cleared
Nicely explained….however how can I create my own .aasx file? I am doing my master thesis on this topic and would like to create my own assets, smc, sme, etc. I would be happy if I can get any help from you 😊

Data Specifications are a generic concept as explained in Part 1 of the Specification of the AAS series. Specification Part 3a IEC61360 is the very first data specification available and is intended to be used in combination with ConceptDescriptions. Part 1 specifies that it is possible to also define data specifications for Submodels and SubmodelElements. However, so far no data specifications for these elements are available.
Hello. Is there any documentation for the AAS Server? Because until now I have found only pieces of information. But It is still not clear form me how to use the OPC-UA or MQTT capabilities(for example). Thank you in advance for the consideration
