Just a few minutes prior to when I recorded this, I was on an R160A-2 (E) with a friend and saw R211T set 4045-4049 4059-4055 on the (C) heading north, but an R46 (A) was blocking the view. Initially, I was only focusing on the R211A (A) that was entering the station southbound, but the other R211T set (4050-4054 4040-4044) entering the station northbound caught me by surprise, as you will hear...

After all these months I finally got to ride an R211!!!!!! This is the pilot set (4060-4064 4065-4069) that entered service in March 2023! Taken in September 2023.

Taken on 9/19/2023. I sadly didn't get to ride it because it was going to Manhattan and I wasn't, but this has been my closest encounter with an R211 so far.

I was heading home from school and saw not just one but TWO R211A trains on the (A) line, both of which caught me by surprise. I was also lucky enough to catch the 5th set (#4090-4094 #4125-4129) on its 2nd day of service! The one I saw at Canal Street (#4085-4089 #4095-4099) was the 3rd set to enter service, doing so in early August 2023. Taken in early September 2023.
