Nope, the pictures are edited in. Iirc the real pics show Nanoha and Fate as kids and Fate together with Erio and their foster mom. Well, it's obvious they've been a couple since they were teens and somewhere between season2 and Vivid Strike they moved in togeter ... but the studio removed/avoided any dialoque about their relationship. Japanese fanboys are way too obsessiv to accept their waifus actually having romantic relationships ... hence the amount of harem anime with dense undecisive protags and open endings^^. In some cases even the voice actresses have to hide the fact that hey're dating someone in order to keep a popular shows fandom from going ballistic. It's silly. So officially they're just best friends ( who've been living together in an apartment with a single bed for years, then adopted a little girl and moved into a house to raise her - because that's what best friends do^^)

+protator In Vivid chapter 1, from what I read Vivio says she's living with Nanoha, she never says anything about living with Fate. The ship Fate works on was in for the time being, so she decided to visit. Nanoha and Fate actually didn't adopt Vivio together, only Nanoha did, Fate is Vivio's godmother, Vivio grew to see see Fate as a second mother. In that same chapter, when Vivio transformed, Fate obviously didn't know about it. If Nanoha and Fate have been living together for 3 years, why would Nanoha or Vivio not tell Fate about it. Later when she's talking to Erio and Caro, they knew about it. In chapter 89 of Vivid, during Vivio's and Miura's match, someone ask's Fate, "how do you feel about the efforts of one who is like a daughter to you?".

@@KillrMonkey19 Even though this is two years old, there are some things not quite right. Fate is working on a ship and she is barely home, but when she is back, she will stay with Nanoha and Vivio. Even Vivio directly say that both are her mothers. It is impossible to adopt a child together, so Nanoha take that action, while Fate became her Godmother
