New year, New look! My kids CUT my hair!
I wanted to do something BIG for my birthday! And our whole family had been passing sickness around for over 2 months and my hair was starting to get on my nerves -SO- I made the decision to donate it. 😲 Follow my journey as I take care of my locks as they grow back out! Our big girls LOVE Lindsey Stirling so we bought tickets to her concert in our city and surprised them on the day of the show! We had SO much fun getting to watch them have this experience. Thank you so much! ❤ I believe this is the shortest I've ever had it! I had my hubby cut it about this length back in 2016 but I had been growing it out since then.

Cute....good decision to donate it...after this first cut made by the children, with your pretty facial features, you should cut shorter and make a short bob🤩

@@amyfortune well, it would be better to have a fairly short bob at chin level...it would highlight your face and head posture more...that's my hairdresser's advice

Whenever I feel like it needs it or can get around to it. 😆 My last trim was in August of 2022 so it's been a while!

beautiful video Amy....long hair always requires a lot of care and attention, a lot of time too...I see it at the hair salon with our clients. after, when you're tired of it, with your pretty face you can afford other more modern styles...nice little very short bob..it will put your pretty facial features even more in value
Thank you for your thoughts! I get tempted to go short all the time but I know I would miss it long. Plus I'm a little worried short might be even more high maintenance because my hair is very wavy when it's short and would be harder to contain. 🤔 I'm definitely still playing with the idea of donating it again though so we'll see! Haha
@@amyfortune It's much easier to maintain...mostly practical and time saving. And from what I see they wave along the length, not from the roots. there would be no problem...as I told you, short hair would suit you perfectly
