About 5 malfunctions in 100 rounds. Ran 40 rounds in the first mag flawlessly and then the malfunctions started happening on the 30 rders. Tommybuilt T7 - Replacement Bolt

Forgot to add this to my 101-150rd video. But here it is since some people were asking what the differences were. The ejector looked super super slightly larger on the new replacement. It was also noticeably stronger. Considering I was able to fire the T7 with almost no issues consistently for 50 rounds, I think that was the issue.

Just got the new bolt head in today and figured it was time to film another video! Emailed Tom on the 7th and he promptly responded and said he’d send out a new bolt head. It finally was shipped on the 15th and then arrived today. Ran 50 rounds and only had 2 malfunctions, one with the bolt not seating and one stovepipe. But other than that! First 45 rounds - break in period SBR'd but no stock since it hasn't been delivered Had several failure to eject malfunctions. But otherwise, amazing to shoot! They should have been 900$ and I’d be more forgiving. Also HK USA patents leaked for sp7 so Tommy is fucked in my opinion. We are going to be getting a bolt gun from them, g36, vp9CC, more of the modern 416/417 variants, and eventually the 433 in 300 blackout. So an HK made civ mp7? Yup. I only wish these worked better for the buyers sake. Tommy scammed yall. 3k for something that would get you killed in a fire fight. Fuck off bud.

i saw a demo ranch video and his MP7, even after being fixed, had issues running suppressed. No one else on yt seems to have mentioned it
Yeah, his is a HK built, but i think it already had some broken parts that needed to be swapped. Running suppressed does put more wear on your gun, but the issues should come after many many rounds. not the first rounds you put on it, like the T7

Hey man! Had a question cause I noticed you’d changed out the flash hider on your T7, any tips/guide to removing the OEM one? Trying to get the gas block off for some work. Thanks in advance!
@@missionarychuck my OEM muzzle device didn’t have any rocksett from the factory so I just used the correct wrench and it loosened with barely any force. Didn’t use a barrel wrench or anything
What’s the correct wrench size? I’ve checked a few and can’t seem to find one that works
@@missionarychuck I believe i used a 7/16" wrench, but you can probably get away with a 1/2"

I have never seen a gun malfunction more than this, and I've not seen a single video of anyone with this gun where it worked. Unbelievable.
The cope in this video is nearly unwatchable. Your gun is not fixed bro. It’s way too expensive to let 3 malfunctions in 50 rounds slide. That’s what we call an unreliable gun. It sucks to say it I’m sure when you were really hopeful and excited for it but that’s a piece of crap. You couldn’t even get through 1 mag without a jam. If Tom couldn’t build it then he shouldn’t have built it, that simple. It clearly is not functioning and has no business being on the market. Please get a refund and call it quits or stay on the manufacturers ass about getting it fixed. You owe it to yourself for the absurd price that gun is.

11:13 this isn't a thing that should be a thing. I can slowly release the bolt on my p90 and it will pull the bullet off the mag and slide it into the chamber, slow or fast shouldn't matter when you're spending 3.7K on a gun imo. Obviously, there could be something going on here that I'm not aware of, I could be wrong, but all of my firearms can slowly charge rounds just as well as fast.

It wasn't a this or that choice. I've already owned a TP9, as well as multiple other pcc platforms. I got the T7 because mp7s are nostalgic and I personally think they look amazing. I have plenty of other firearms that fulfill the "reliable fighting weapons" category. Buying this is just to fulfill the "I want an mp7 as a range toy" category. It's like buying a classic car. You don't buy it because of the A/C, radio, top speed, gas economy. You buy it because it looks amazing and want to fulfill that childhood dream.
