Psalm 19, for Clarinet Quartet & Fanfare Band by Hardy Mertens
Het Brabants Fanfare Orkest is opgericht op 1 januari 1995 en bestaat uit een 50-tal muzikanten: grotendeels gevorderde amateurs, aangevuld met enkele conservatoriumstudenten en professionele musici. De doelstelling van het BFO is om het fanfareorkest in het algemeen te promoten en met name in Brabant een inspirerende rol te vervullen. Het streven is om een zo gevarieerd mogelijk repertoire te brengen waarbij vooral gedacht wordt aan nieuwe composities en arrangementen.

Onbekend is onbemind... Geen vernieuwer, wel een goed vakman, Gilson. De Gidsen op behoorlijk niveau!
Als Gilson geen vernieuwer was dan leer ik graag van jullie wie ter wereld er dergelijke symfonische originele blaasmuziek componeerde in 1887.....

Dit is het plichtwerk op het VLOF Heist op den berg op 30 maart 2014 Het wordt terug een open kampioenschap waar binnen- en buitenlandse topfanfares (niveau superieure afdeling) aan kunnen deelnemen. De wedstrijd wordt niet opgedeeld in afdelingen. Duimen alvast voor de Stadsfanfaren Izegem !!!

Zeer mooi gedaan! Maar het middengedeelte mist "body". Binnenkort een andere versie op You Tube! Kan je eens vergelijken. Nog eventjes geduld.
Mooi ! Maar niks vergeleken met de schitterende uitvoering van dit prachtige werk door het orkest waarvoor het origineel gecompeneerd is tgv hun 100ste verjaardag : St.-Isidorusfanfare van Olen !! haha :-)
