I think I'm in love.
Do you have an email? I am not one of your students but I just found out about your videos and they have helped me so much. I would appreciate it if you could email me a copy of the precalculus notes that you do in your videos. Not these notes, but the ones you used in the 2020-2021 PAP Precalculus playlist.
You are an excellent teacher!
these videos help so much because I can’t understand how My teacher explains it , thank you
Yesss! The TI nspire. Thank you
Thank you! This is extremely helpful. I can foresee where students might have misconceptions. Keep up the excellent work.
How do you do both of those graphs on Desmos? Can you share how to do that, Please? I have tried but no idea how to do that.
It was created by someone else and I made edits to fit my needs. Here is a link to my copy: teacher.desmos.com/activitybuilder/custom/661ee2d8746a474e25c9a21f
@@mrs.finnen thank you
I work as a volunteer in a houseplant-recycling shop, and in the past I have experienced the power of mathematics. By experimenting with polar-equations I have tried to convey something of my accumulated ability (not perfect, but it looks like it, if I may say so) to simulate petals to my colleagues. I think it would be too overestimated to say that it has converted them to become math-enthusiasts (science, technology still has a certain odium of inaccessability, or even threatening). But from an artistic or aesthetical point of view, something of what I have shown them might be appealing. At the moment I am cleaning up my appartment, clear away much old stuff, making breathing space, with almost MINIMALISTIC guidelines.. So at the moment it is unlikely to be specific about my finding in this context. But I assume I'm able to catch up with this in the near future. Thanks for your clear explanation; keep it up!
I love this! Math and nature are so intertwined, I love when people actually see it!
Excellent teaching. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Is the material you cover available for sale?
No. Most of the documents I use are created and freely shared by Mr. Bryan Passwater. He is an amazing teacher!
Excellent videos. Thanks.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for posting!
You bet!
What is your program for this writing??
It is ActivInspire on my Promethean Board
Hello
You are doing a great job, what book are you using for AP calculus?
Thank you! I do not follow a specific book. We follow the CED and the notes and assignments are a hybrid of things from former amazing teachers in the district as well as material from Bryan Passwater and other Master Teachers that freely and generously share their expertise and materials.
Thank you, Happy Teachers' Day, your students are lucky to have such an amazing teacher@@mrs.finnen
Can you do Worksheet B the back side n post please! I have an assignment on it
what an amazing video! it was very educational and helpful for my assignment. deepest gratitude amen🙏
Hi, i’m an ap pre cal student. on the first day i was assigned a packet of “change in tandems” i’m confused on some of the parts. A few questions you did were on the packet, is there any chance you review the rest of it?
Hope its true
😅
Thank you Mrs. Finnen
💗😊ilove you I am following you Arabic I am KSA
love the content keep it 💯
Very helpful, thank you
I love math
#4 is 4,457,400!
Omg I forgot I am still subscribed to your channel 😂. Calc 2 is pretty good so far
Quick question: How are you able to know when to include or not include a point on a graph?
Yep, I sure did! Sorry, I totally swapped x & y!
The thing is that I just have a front facing camera on my computer and not a back one. So I'm just going to take a picture on my phone and send it through schoology
All of the district issued devices have rear facing camera options. If you have an HP, then you have to flip the keyboard around so it is in tablet mode and there is a camera to the left of the mouse. Using your phone is fine, just make sure you upload it as a PDF.
how come #6 isn't all real numbers?
oh wait, is it because there is two separate lines?
There are 2 asymptotes. One at y = 0 and one at x = 3.
Shouldn't for number 6 the domain and range be all real numbers
No, there are 2 asymptotes. One at y = 0 and one at x = 3.
Best Precalculus teacher
This is so adorable!!!! I love it!💖💖💖💖
How long did it take to figure out an equation to get that solution?
Wow it’s like I’m in the room
What's the remind code?
You are simply the best, Mrs. Finnen! Please take care.
20. Square root of 2
Why is this posted now? Do we have a notes page?
Thank you
Triangle Quadrilateral Pentagon Hexagon Heptagon Octagon Nonagon Decagon Hendecagon Dodecagon Tridecagon Tetradecagon Pentadecagon Hexadecagon Heptadecagon Octadecagon Enneadecagon and...Icosagon Can you name the polygons that have 30-1,000 sides?
monogons and digons are circles with a point (for digon, theres 2 points anywhere at the line of circle) original polygons: Triangle Quadrilateral (square, trapezoid, and any polygons that have 4 sides) Pentagon Hexagon Heptagon Octagon Nonagon Decagon Hendecagon Dodecagon Tridecagon Tetradecagon Pentadecagon Hexadecagon Heptadecagon (fun fact that this one is possible but nearly impossible to construct) Octadecagon Enneadecagon Icosagon Icosakaimonogon Icosidigon Icositrigon Icositetragon icosipentagon icosihexagon icosiheptagon icosioctagon icosienneagon triacontagon triacontamonogon triacontadigon triacontatrigon triacontatetragon triacontapentagon triacontahexagon triacontaheptagon triacontaoctagon triacontaenneagon tetracontagon tetracontamonogon tetracontadigon tetracontatrigon tetracontatetragon tetracontapentagon tetracontahexagon tetracontaheptagon tetracontaoctagon tetracontaenneagon pentacontagon pentacontamonogon pentacontadigon pentacontatrigon pentacontatetragon pentacontapentagon pentacontahexagon pentacontaheptagon pentacontaoctagon pentacontaenneagon hexacontagon hexacontamonogon hexacontadigon hexacontatrigon hexacontatetragon hexacontapentagon hexacontahexagon hexacontaheptagon hexacontaoctagon hexacontaenneagon heptacontagon octacontagon enneacontagon hectogon bro im lazy
Mrs. Finnen, for number 5 on the sigma notation. Why did you use that formula?
As in why did you use n instead of a1
