This workshop gives compelling demographic information which demonstrates the evangelistic opportunity that the growth of Latinos offers The Episcopal Church. It presents data that clearly shows the need to reach out to the 2/3 of Latinos who are bilingual and bicultural which demands a paradigm shift in our approach to evangelism. Additionally, the workshop explores the opportunity for non-Spanish-speaking clergy/lay leaders to engage in this expanded Latino ministry which is bilingual or predominantly in English (with a Latino flavor).
