I am a 67 yr old white gramma! Your music brings back my youth when we would go groovin' at the Arrows Club in the 60's and 70's in Halifax NS. Billy and Graham Downey opened this little club with the likes of Wilson Pickett, Ike and Tina, Teddy Pendergrass, Marvin Gaye and many more. Whites and blacks colourless for a few hours! Loving your soul..

I love the sound of this whole band, although The People seem to be a fairly fluid mix of performers (various people on horns, keys and backup singing). But when Gedeon's little sister, Evvie, is singing with them, the effect is magical. From an old-time fan of the Stax sound, keep the magic going folks!
