@@ArkOnline2023 I have been enjoying far harbor but the Nuka world DLC was horrible at first. I would tell you why but it would be a spoiler if I did.

As far as I know, the source of the Gong is an in game warning sound, it doesn't emanate from anywhere on the map. Please read the write-up for my most recent episode, Eleanor Teddy two bears and the Gong, for an in-depth explanation.

It’s a special quest that takes place in good neighbor. Not many quests take place here, and it’s such a cool part of the map. The costume is leveled, which adds a level of complexity. The costume adds special dialog also, which makes the rest of the game more interesting because you may have a special dialog option. Overall, this is a fan favorite quest.

@ArkOnline2023 I didn't know you could tell a cat to go somewhere. I thought cats were fairly independent and likely to do their own thing anyway. Did I see you sporting purple power armour or was it a trick of the light.? Way of The Cat Video 1.

@@antonyeastham4564 Yes, wearing purple Is supposed to give charisma with all pieces painted, but the effect only lasts until the armour is damaged.

It's very tempting to choose the other answers in the settler dialogue... Go for recruitment straight away.

@@ArkOnline2023 it never comes up as dialogue. I talk to them and I just get a generic reply. I've even made sure to talk to all of them incase only one had proper dialogue. But that was all on a PS3. I'm currently playing again in a PS5 so I hope that I get the recruitment option.

@@ArkOnline2023 I prefer not to drain this because it has 2 guaranteed rolls of duct tape that are easy to get early on without any danger, and they respawn. I suppose this means when I play Sully spends the rest of his life just trying to get the pump going.

Well, I had to try - they kept moaning about dirty fingernails! The NPC comments are feedback. So when they say they're hungry, and settlement food is sufficient, 9 times out of 10 they usually don't have any food in their own inventory. So feed them!?

@@ArkOnline2023 I remember back when the game first came out how we all used to think that adding dressers and chairs contributed to a Settlements happiness also...

@@NorthernChev And we thought the settlement actually had to be "large" like the achievement states. Easiest way to happiness is in a one settler settlement.

Yes, and occasionally I see a Settler standing on top of another settler whilst they are lifting weights, comical.

Yes, once we've dressed them and given them pip-boys, fed them and armed them, and maybe make them happy, we can then march them 20 strong across the wasteland! ;-) A new faction enters the wasteland, The Settler Land Army. I'm experimenting on that very theme, right now.

Damn didnt know about the companion thing, all my frames are from military check points, kinda bums me that even if its a raider, if you shoot out there fusion core and get them out and kill them its still labeled stolen... Incredible

Yeah, I noticed that. I thought the game had found a way to prevent further appropriations, but what you've said makes me think it's normal. I pacified them with the syringer and not the intimidation perk; they turned round and walked away. I then pickpocketed their Fusion core. The game must regard them as an innocent bystander, and not a prisoner, so the stuff is viewed as stolen.

If you tell me something, maybe I can try to explain it.
