This is actual photo's of booths selling washer's and cellphone's at East Tool. Two Dewalt 6amp Batteries will get 3 loads of wash done and naturally the Amish use solar dryers ( A Cloths Line )
Free Ice Cream At East Tool

The Amish love their Ice Cream and if it's Free they all come out. My Amish neighbor's have a standing order for ice cream when I go to Lapp Valley Farm in New Holland, PA USA. Lapp Valley has the best Ice Cream anywhere and I was a professional eater with IFOCE and MLE.

Hopefully no one was injured nor was the horse injured. I love the Amish and Mennonite people because of the way they lead their lives.
The horse was a little shook up but not seriously injured, neither was the driver who hung on to the runaway buggy for a couple of feet. The horse took the buggy for a couple of miles at speeds up to 40 miles per hour. He ended up in a creek after hitting a telephone pole and a stone wall.
Thank You for commenting
Did that buggy just blow the stop sign?
Looks like the near horse is nodding? Might want to check for hoof/leg issues if he's lame.
Driving essentials….. BEER! Ha!
The young Amish are running away in record numbers.
Faithful humans will do the same in new world order established by God, humans will no longer pollute the Earth.
How is the spreader driven, with no tyres or cleats on wheels?
Thanks For Commenting The Amish and horse and buggy Mennonites do not use rubber tires, all their wheels are metal or metal with rubber cleats attached it gives a rough ride but they never get a flat.
It's stupid. Don't use tractor, because it is on diesel, but use engine to power this harwester....
Thanks for Commenting I started this channel to share what I see everyday and I find it interesting to hear other peoples thoughts just as I find it interesting watching my Amish neighbors. Thanks Again for Commenting. I have many Amish true friends and there is no rhyme or reason to some of the things they can or cannot do and thing vary from district to district. I have a friend north of route 30 here in Lancaster county PA that uses a skid steer on the farm but my neighbors here south of route 30 would never think of using anything but a horse or mule.
The original auto steer right there folks and no fancy computers to do all that awsome
Glad we're not all relying on this for our food. We would be starving. Religion. LOL!!!
@No Name although it feeds the food.
In the 40s and 50s this is the way most corn was harvested, just replace the horses and mules with tractors.
Do they then manually remove the corn from the cobs?
Thank You for Commenting this is feed corn the cob is separated from the stock and the cob will be stored in a corn crib. They will come back with another machine and grind the stock into fodder that they use for animal bedding. There is a machine that does separate the kernels from the cob but one better is one machine that takes the husk and silk off the ear.
By the way these are draft horses, not mules.
Good eye, yes they are draft horses but as you know the neighboring farms use mules a little more stubborn and just down the road the horse and buggy and black bumper Mennonites use tractors with metal wheels. Thanks for Commenting.
One mule on the wagon. Sorrel left side
An engine mounted on the drawbar running the power take off.
The engine is mounted on the frame of the picker replacing the PTO shaft. 25 horsepower no big deal. Sometimes they have a PTO mounted on the hitchcart which would require how much larger setup to pull it unnecessary for a one r o w corn picker
Watched up cose Amish family we know use and engine mounted on a chopper and blower for dry stalks and blew them in the barn.
@@peterjones3226 Look Closer The engine is not directly running the picker . There's a PTO shaft running from the engine to the pickers gearbox along with a governor on the engine. All this in order to match the 540 RPM the machine is designed and geared for.
@@robertlong7033 well you're right I have a 423 new idea that we were going to mount that motor to that shaft that runs everything but I was making the point I guess that it wasn't run off the PTO hitchcard and depending on where they cut the shaft and how they mount their motor they're just running that pulley scenario to get the 540. A lot of work to replace a tractor
@@peterjones3226 I spent more than two decades interacting with that bunch on a daily basis. The whole thing is a big public deception Most Amish only kowtow to that strict Amish dogma on the surface. The hardship of it is simply too extreme In reality they're always circumventing and bypassing it in a way where they won't be punished or "shunned ". And OMG....The inbreeding is ghastly.
Thanks for sharing. I love watching them work in the fields. I was down in the beginning of October and got to see a few out harvesting corn silage and feed corn. And raking and baling hay.
You people get away with a lot of shit t. Don't you go back to wherever you came from
Is that a gas powered picker?
I am thinking it is. Just no electric, and nothing that would be a luxury. I found this clip "The reason some Amish use tractors and others do not, is because it is not a core belief or philosophy they have (to use, or not use, a certain technology), but it is an applied belief or philosophy. Their philosophy they are trying to maintain is local integrity of the community, as well as denial of luxuries. Each community is free to decide for their own group, what they will do. Therefore, the applications of the general principles vary from group to group, depending on the demands of the locality, including weather, terrain, and economy, among other factors."
and this "Yes, but it depends. We had 2 Amish neighbors living close to us. One was Lancaster Amish, and the second was Nebraska Amish. The Lancaster Amish had a tractor that they used to pump out their manure pit. However, I never saw it being used in the fields, or even to pull things around the farm for that matter. It was only used as a stationary source of power. Now my Nebraska Amish neighbor, all his equipment was horse or mule powered, and ground-driven. I never saw any gasoline powered engines out in his field. But the Lancaster neighbor would have his mules(?) pull a hay bailer that had a gasoline or diesel powered engine connected to it. So while the Amish may use a tractor as a source of power, you are probably not going to see them use it do do field work. Oh, yeah. And they take the rubber tires off the tractors replacing them with metal wheels with rubber cleats. Very interesting arrangement! And loud when they are going down the road to the next farm."
I have relatives in Lancaster......they do not see any machinery of their local Amish. But they will have a propane fridge.
Yes it is gas powered and you will find the there is different rules set by the elders in different districts. Even here in Lancaster, PA north of route 30 is more progressive than south of route 30. There is also different rule as to what is allowed in the house appose to the barn and shops.
Thas a 5 horse power tractor!
Wonderful auction, clear understand what they say, good for the gardens. Greetings from the Netherlands
The auctioneer is flawless, great🤣😄
I love to see kids working and learning discipline. I grew up near an Amish County
So Amish do use machinery
Thanks for Commenting. The whole thing is confusing each district has their own rules. Tying to make sense of it can make your head spin.
Good way to Die !👍🏻🙄
Please give me job your formering
The amish are such a blessing to the land and all those around them be blessed and come to sc please
Organic tea.
Myjnia dla koni 😃👍
It's incredible how long New Holland equipment lasts, it can literally rust in a field for decades and still perform after a little maintenance. The Dutch really are the world leaders in farming techniques. I see the Amish have an excellent eye for quality when machinery must be used.
Thank You for taking time to comment and I agree sometime there is no substitute for quality tool's or equipment. New Holland, Pa is only minutes away where they still make the New Holland equipment. Next time I go by I will have to get pictures to post. Thanks Again
Its not even Dutch... Abe Zimmerman started out in a repair shop in 1895 in New Holland, Pennsylvania, USA, which is where the name comes from.
@@rjansen6874 I apologize for my ignorance I had assumed the area was settled by Dutch farming immigrants hence the name. Thank you for educating me so I don't make the same mistakes.
To jest prawdziwa ekologia!!👍😃
Przynajmniej do nikąd się nie spieszą 😃👍
Bardzo ekonomiczny pojazd 🤣👍
My nefew lives in the USA. He saidThe Amish people are some of the nicest people in that country .
Yes most are kind and whenever I need help they are right there and me in return. Although I purchased my house at a Amish house auction the one who I out bid lives two houses away I speak and wave to his wife, children and the rest of his relatives but he will turn his head when he goes by, hide in his barn when I go over and after three years has not yet spoke to us.
Que raro! Saludos desde México.
Thank You and if you didn't know there is a Amish settlement in the northern part of Mexico
Bon travail. Chapeau

I could have not said it better. Thank You for such a insightful Comment
According to whom?
@@soisaidtogod4248 according to GOD and Bible
It's a bit daft that they have motorised the baler but have horses pulling it instead of a tractor.
❤
Love seeing all those buggies and horses!
Thank You for Commenting and letting me know what you like to see.
😎🖐
I man who knows the Amish better than me had told me you can't make sense of what they do you just have to accept their ways
The finger over the lens is just fantastic 👌 😀
I'm glad you approve it's a simple way of covering their faces without having to go through a tedious editing process. Thanks For Commenting I hope you enjoy the videos it's a blessing to be in such a unique and beautiful place, I just wanted to share it with everyone.
