why do you say "A" as "ei" in some cases and "a" in other cases? example: "ei" bed, but "a" cat although it´s the same article?

Enjoying this series immensely, as it reminds me of the detachment from the universe that humanity is always striving to understand and recover from...we are a manifestation of consciousness that seemingly cannot define, therefore cannot recognize itself.. we fail to see we are a part of the universe discovering itself. We humans are the STORYTELLERS.. it is what makes us human. We tend to champion our own "personal" existence as humans, forgetting we are neighbors to our fellow Terrans. As a species we have had a pseudo-colonial view of the universe, large and small..trying as we might to create understanding of that which is readily visible, but beyond our capacities to comprehend. The universe is an exquisitely beautiful and terrifying manifestation. The universe goes where we take it, when we dream, when we lose faith in the dreams and falter into hope, then fall away to hopelessness, despair, then hate..losing the tether of faith and connection in the universe. Humanity has so many stories and "answers" but it is all perspectives. We look for "alien life" while ignoring the rich life and "cultures" of our nearest neighbors, while our species struggles to find its course. *I think you would find the storytelling of J. Michael Straczynski and his Babylon 5 series also of interest if you haven't discovered it already. I love how science fiction brings our attention to who and how we are as a species..it is a very heavily human based perspective yet opens us up to "neutral territory" where we can truely explore ourselves. An avatar of humanity of sorts.. I look forward to part 3 of this series, I hope it resonates with people! Thank you again!

Have you read “The Three Body Problem” yourself? In the novelization, Ye Wenjie is absolutely seeking revenge against Mao’s communist revolution (and humanity in general) for the murder committed against her father and the shame she was forced to endure.

I enjoyed this video. Not a student, your video just popped into my feed. But I did not know there were Latino Sci-Fi writers. I can't wait to dive into a bunch of books this summer. Thank you.
