Watch how I drained ink from my Epson 2760 and sublimated a better color red!
This video will show you how I emptied the ink out of my Epson 2760 and then filled it with a different ink. I also was having trouble sublimating a really beautiful red color, so I did an experiment. check it out!

How I mounted a Flag on my Jeep Wrangler
Переглядів 4,8 тис.3 роки тому
How to make and mount a flag pole to a 2016 Jeep Wrangler for almost ZERO cost. I already had the flag pole, umbrella tube, and flag. (I met a person today who paid $250 for a flag mount from Etsy. Mine was free and works just as good! Saving my $ for other Jeep mods! The umbrella pole adds strength, and the zip ties hold it to the wheel. Just in time for Memorial Day! And its super easy to tak...
Lady you literally saved a project I was doing. What an amazing super cool trick. Muchas gracias amiga!
Genius idea
You mentioned your circuit is on wheels, I’m new to this , is that an added accessory or did you do it yourself , if so how did you do it please.
I am trying to cut a 26.5x2 decal. It looks to be positioned to start cutting at the beginning of the vinyl, but it does not until about halfway down which then there is not enough vinyl and the system errors out wasting the vinyl since unfinished. I have the maker 3 and seem to be having to much wasted vinyl. any help is appreciated
Ok so 😅
I have a cricket maker 3 but have not used it yet. Watching videos before I tackle any projects. I really appreciate your video on how to make a long decal without the smart vinyl. Thank you very much. It was very great. Will search for more of your videos later on.
This helped me a lot. Thank you.
Awesome. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for ispiring us to be more recursive and creative with the machine , I would also like to say, (Im about to test it , is to do my own mats, there is a double side sticky vinyl) may be that way we could avoid buying those expensive mats and make one large instead of two, avoiding the bubbles at the center of them. blessing bye
Monica!!! Your my hero!!! I’m a beginner and got a ton of reg vinyl for this machine while waiting as it was a gift from my sister, I told her to get the used- like new option from Amazon, which came with nothing but the machine. 🫣I KNOW!!! I am really only focusing on heat transfers for clothing I’m making, would u suggest a different machine that would fit my needs better? I mean all the extras are amazing! But a luxury I wouldn’t use enough to justify keeping this one. Right?! Help! Any suggestions?
Did you get the Cricut maker? I hope so. If so, it’s awesome. It’s my ‘go to’ cutter. I also have the cameo pro 4 & Silhouette Studio, but I do most of my cutting with my sweet dependable Cricut maker 3. *You’ll need HTV if you are going to make clothing. But having regular vinyl on hand is fun for making decals and other cool things! Good luck! I’m glad my video was helpful!!
I have cricut machine how do i adjust the size of mat to longmat so that a can can long or large stifkers?thank you
Where did you find 13" wide x 24" mat?
Can I use the same trick with Air2?
I’m not sure. Perhaps someone else knows the answer to your question.
This does work but, if you have things close to the edge the cuter head can catch the edge of the mat . Ask me how I know. Try to move your project in away from the edge before cutting.
I’m so grateful that you made this video! I tried it and it absolutely works!! I’m going to save so much money with your method. Thank you so much
I’ve been using my cricut for over 3 years now and I have no idea what a “weed box” is?? Can someone fill me in please?…lol
Why does it tell me I can't? My size is too big. Please help.
Hmm.. maybe try decreasing the size of the file you are trying to cut. But be sure to do this by grabbing a corner node and dragging inward so everything is kept in proportion.
WOW JUST WOW! Such a huge difference in colors!
I so happy you did this video! Now I have to buy a Maker3! I have a Maker and the reason I held back on the 3 is having to use the Smart Vinyl!!! I am NOT paying for Cricut supplies, they are NOT worth the money and are NOT better than Siser!! I wanted it for the ability to make really big decals just like this but that Smart vinyl thing just had me shaking my head! I was ready to buy the Joy and figure out how to splice decals to make them really big so this helped me a lot! I am fine with having two Makers!
Can you do this with a circuit maker ?
also another question, how can you get around all that left over on the top? Is their a way to get around that? Thank you for sharing this step by step process. It was most helpful.
I’m not sure what you mean by leftover.
Im new to all of this i just go the same machine you have for xmas. What's the purpose of the weeding box?
The weeding box is used to avoid wasting so much vinyl. The ‘outside’ part can be saved. I prefer to just measure a piece of vinyl that is slightly larger than my cut design.
This is brilliant! I just watched someone else on UA-cam try to circumvent the smart vinyl and I’m glad I kept looking because THIS is the answer 😊 thank you
That was AWESOME!!!... I just bought my Cricut Explore 3 today because I wanted to make stickers bigger than 24 inches and I thought the same as you did... I'm glad I found your video showing hot to cut long decals, thank you so much!!!
You’re welcome. Thank you for the kind words 😊
I am really new to Circut and I have a Maker 3. The price of their vinyl is scary and I am aware that alternatives can be used. The Smart ones you don't need a mat for, but I wonder if I use alternatives, do I need a mat? Thank you
How and what did you put wheels under your Cricutmaker 3? How did you attach wheels and what kind of wheels did you attach under your cricutmaker? YOU are so smart... LOVE THIS VIDEO
"Thumbs UP" people... This Video is GREAT.
She should do more tutorials
Hi! I loved your video! I've had my cricut for about a year, and am still learning! Could you (or anyone that reads this) help me figure something out, I am trying to make my own viynl iron on with different images from design space. ( a mountain and a few different trees) I sent the trees back and brought some forward and arranged them, but when I went to cut, it cut the trunk through the mountain, and some of the overlapping trees. so when I weed it, It pulls up half the tree and mountain. I have done lots of research and I can't seem to figure it out. I don't know the right terms or tools to use to ask Google correctly, I see images in design space already made that look similar, but I want to customize my own. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Did you try welding them together before sending them to be cut?
@monicaK Thanks so much for responding so efficiently! I thought I did, but it is possible I did not. This is the first time I've tried a project with my own design. I may just attached them? I've messed it with it so much, I will start over tomorrow and try that. I uploaded two short videos, one of the actual cut and one of what it looks like(what I'm hoping for it to look like) on design space! 😊
So I was curious can you use the cricut 3 with the same computer and also what type of windows do you need to run to make this work
Thank you for sharing! This video alone was enough to convince me that it is possible to overcome the limitations of possible vinyls for large designs and opt for the Maker 3! One thing I’m curious about is in your video, you showed that not only was the maker 3 tricked into thinking it was continuously cutting smart vinyl, it seemed to be cutting 2x faster as well. Does this mean when using a mat with regular vinyl, cricut can cut 2x faster if you specify you are using smart vinyl instead of on mat?
What a great way of doing it! I don't like to split images. Thanks. May I ask, were you doing Print then cut or basic cut? Print then cut has a size limit. Thanks
Hi! Thank you! But I’m new & I can’t get to do the box in the back the Weber box?? Thank you
The problem you have conquered was one of the reasons I have delayed buying a Cricut 3 version. This is a brilliant discovery. Now, I can get one soon with more peace of mind.
Well done. I thought about doing this before your video, as I have along project in mind.
You answered all my questions in 1 video..Thank you soooooo much 🥰🥰
Someone wants a 40 in long x 5 in wide window banner decal but the vinyl only comes in 3 foot sections. How do i slice the 2 words and make it with the 1 sheet
Don’t slice anything. That’s not necessary. You need to buy longer vinyl. Go to 143Vinyl.com. They sell longer rolls. No need to do that decal in sections. You got this!
I need it done by Sunday. No time to order. Is there a way to split up the words?
Yes but it’s too much to describe here. UA-cam has several videos. Search for How to Cut larger than mat. Good luck!
@@monicak2985 I did that. Nothing explains it how i need it to be done
Could you do this technique with a Maker1?
I don’t know the answer to your question. Sorry. try it and see what happens.
I'm trying to do a front car windshield decal that goes across 40 inches. Do i have to angle it or just do it straight
Can you showthe actual placement please . the technique was wonder and simple. How did you one up applying this! Leonard
Low audio, can't hear anything she said
Let me know what was this black material used is that vinyl ??
What is the difference between Smart Vinyl than regular Vinyl?
Cricut Smart vinyl is 13" wide and about that much more expensive. lol
EXCELLENT EXCELLENT VIDEO .... Thank you so much for sharing this great video... I am getting ready to do a HUGE Sign for my Acting Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico... The last one I did was (4 foot by 8 foot) took me 2 weeks to Hand draw it out.. Paint it... then put POUNDS of Glitter on it... (Yes, I said POUNDS of Glitter)... Every square inch was GLITTER... it turned out BEAUTIFUL... I had asked a Sign company what it would cost to make it... and knowing it would take 5 layers (primer on the wood, paint, hand drawing, paint each letter, each color, then 3 layers of Glitter... they estimated it to be $1600. or more!!! ... So I did it... BUT... This time... since I'm RE-Opening my New Acting Studio and changing the name from "Film Studio Cafe" (everyone thought it was a Cafe instead of an Acting Studio)... the new name will be... "J. Christopher Couture" Acting Studio... "The Art of Acting"... I wanted to have the Vinyl Letters first then that would cut my time down signify... I really prayed that I would find a VIDEO today that would help me do BIG (6" letters) and your video popped up... YOU are a God Send... Thank you so much for your video... The only problem is I have never used a "Cricutmaker" before... is it hard to learn...? NOW... Don't laugh.. I used to work at a sign company ... worked on a $7000. Computer and we cut out Huge letters and signs... so I shouldn't be scared of a Cricutmaker... I will have to send you a picture or make a video and give you the credit, because if I had not SEEN this video today... I was going to go to a professional Sign maker... and I really didn't want to do that... I am sooooo Happy... Thank you so much for sharing this great video... BTW... You need to get a Mic to put on you so we can hear you better...
You made it look so easy! Gotta make a few car decals for my husband and his car club buddies, I’m so nervous! Hopefully I’ll be able to pull it off just like you did
Thanks for this. TIP: i had issues with the knife pressures, even when i set them to the minimum is design space were cutting right through the my vinyl backing. it took some trial and error, but i managed to fix by raising the height of the blade holder. works a treat now! now i need to 3d print some blade holder collars so i dont have to guess the height the blade should be at! BONUS TIP: if i can do something cheaper I will. So I bought some flexible cutting matts from the supermarket, i cut them down to size and i use making take to fix my vinyl to it - you can also buy some spray tack to make it sticky. Works out about the 1/3 of the price of the Cricut matts, and i also got 4 matts in the pack!
Oh wow. I’ve never had that problem but thanks for sharing.
Thank you for this fabulous video! I am getting ready to make a long vinyl decal for my sister's boat name, and although I know it COULD be done, I didn't know how! I'll let you know how it went.
So, I should have remembered that when Cricut thinks you're working with Smart Vinyl (which I wasn't) I should have placed the vinyl at the edge... After a couple tries, I got 'er done, and my sister is happy. 😁
Glad to hear it!
If you take the weed box and duplicate it three times then you will have 4, take all 4 and center them together then weld them. Then put your decal picture in the weed box that you sent to the back and group them together and then attach. Once you cut that it will cut the box out so you won’t have to use scissors to cut the paper once you are done weeding.
Why do you use a weed box? I'm new to cricut I have a maker 3 so keen to make car banners
I have used a weed box (but never had to stack 3 of them). Most of the time I just precut my vinyl slightly larger than my svg design.
Great explanation
You are genius!😍 Thank you 😘💖👌
