Lifaafe (Envelopes)
Lifaafe" (Envelopes), won 11 awards in Film Festivals around the world. It is a film about Medha, a 55 year old widow and mother of 21 year old Sneha. Medha spent many years of her life taking care of her husband, a cancer patient and her mother-in-law, a sickly dementia patient. Medha, a passionate poet and singer, has dreams and aspirations of her own which she keeps enclosed in an envelope hidden in a diary in her cupboard. She is afraid of revealing her desires for fear of rejection from her daughter and society. Will Medha have the courage to face her fears?
