I was just talking about this last night. Reading Paul's letter to the church at Philippi. He was chained up in prison and eventually was killed, but God used his letters for several books of the Bible. So, God's "good plan" was moreso for the greater good for His Kingdom on earth and for Paul's good in Heaven. Definitely not a popular message for most preachers and ministries. I can see why that verse has morphed to mean worldly good like health, wealth, etc.

How do you put a trust in the Lord when he’s proven himself to be a liar a thief and a hypocrite Jesus lies it Matthew 1628 and again it Luke 927 where he clearly states that there would be some standing there with him who would not taste death before his return that was well over 2000 years ago those people are all dead and gone. Jesus lied. Jesus is a false prophet. He’s also a thief because he stole a donkey. What does an almighty all powerful God need to steal a donkey for How ridiculous he’s also a shameless hypocrite because he command his followers to love their enemies, while his destruction, Christians and Christianity, what an absolute joke.!
