This bus sounds like my district’s bus #50 it’s a 2016 Thomas C2 with the Cummins ISB and Allison 3000PTS transmission. The axle hums nicely.
I’ve never heard an axle whine that sounds like that on a c2. I’ve always heard the normal hum that they have

C2’s always seem to consistently have the best sounding rear axle noise. (CEs’ too but some of the older ones don’t make much axle noise)
Sounds like my district’s 2010’s except theirs have the Allison 3000 PTS. And many have no air ride.
I like how this bus sounds. It has a louder axle hum than most of my district’s 2010 IC CE’s

Sounds like my district’s 2016 and 2017 Thomas C2’s especially because a good portion of them have an axle hum.

I love the hum. Bus 50 in my district has that same hum sound it’s a 2016 C2 with a Cummins ISB.

Dude stop confusing people new to buses. It’s a Maxxforce DT derived from the DT466 platform which is a 7.6 liter diesel engine. It’s attached to an Allison 2500 5 speed automatic.
Sounds unique! This is prob my favorite sounding axle-whine from a C2 now lol Hope to see more of bus 525! :)

It’s a 2008. It just has the older 07 style doors.
I did in fact took a school bus Ride Home from Frederick High School to my Home on a 2009 Thomas Saf T Liner C2 Route #S85 and the driver was a Female!

Reminds me of the 2016 c2 I rode in 6th and 7th grade. It has a Cummins isb 6.7l and Allison 6 speed automatic transmission. It also had a fairly loud rear differential too.
And nice axle sound I get used to hearing the axle slowly getting higher 100/100 for the axle
