Library to Business: DemographicsNow Advanced
Beautiful! I love the sound of the books. What a brilliant and fun project.
did anyone notice in the timelapse when someone accidentally toppled the books early
That was fantastic! The work being filmed from above made the library look like a doll's house. Love this whole idea!

I Liked Book
Wow, this is so cool!!
I watch movies.
I just got a book in the mail today that I'd ordered used on Amazon and it had a sticker in it that said it was one of the books in this domino chain. That's what lead me to this video. It feels so cool to own a little piece of this accomplishment!
Matthew Stanley How cool!
such a satisfying sound
B055MAN23 Yes, it is!
awesome. ..
Since this is a world record, and there was a section of the domino chain that says, "READ," I am wondering if there was a logging of the books used in the chain, so that industrious readers looking for a challenge could try to read all of the books in the chain? :)
Bad. Too bad.
So so cool!! :-D 😍💖📚
Kaydence Lunsford Yes, so cool!!
I loved this video!!!😆😅😍😆😅😄😃😂😁😀😊☺😉😂

Does anybody know who did the music? I love it.
cool libary...but i had my own
a couple of times while it shows the timelapse set up, it shows the books up, then down, then up, then down. i take it those were attempts that didnt finish properly.
Yep. This was our 5th (and final) attempt.
***** well i would figure that it would have been your final one. it would be silly if you did a 6th attempt if the 5th one worked ;) i wonder how long until someone makes a domino rally of kindles and nooks lol (unless someone has already done that...)
Oh I meant that we were out of time. This is in the lobby of the main seattle public library. We blocked off the lobby and started setting up during the day, and then all these attempts happened at night after it closed. We were out of time though, and if this 5th attempt hadn't worked we wouldn't have time to do another.
Also, fun time- in the 4th attempt all but the last 10 or so books fell. We were all exhausted and it was soo disheartening. We almost quit right then (a lot of the volunteers actually did have to go then), but those of us that were left decided to give it one more go. luckily we did!
***** well it's a good thing the last attempt worked! lol
Is this a real song? or just created for the video?
WoW! Awesome! i love it!
Hey, kids! Don't read books! Just throw them at other books and see what it does!

Hey, read the info: "The books used to make this domino chain were either donated or are out of date and no longer in the library's collection. They are now being sold by the Friends of Seattle Public Library to help raise money for library programs and services."
