Lol I got my PTR 9kt for under 1k used from a local gun shop where I'm from came with a red-dot and some ETS mags I've put around $700 into it keeping it a pistol with an SB tactical brace and some new midnight bronze mags all from HK-parts.

With the Polish folder, it would look better with a Romanian dong. I did that to my PA Sporter. I've never been a fan of those 90° handgrips.

I put a Polish folding stock on my PA Sporter, but just run a folding brace on my Hellpup. As long as braces are a thing, I'm not sending the Gubment $200 per gun. And then need to ask permission to cross state lines. Yes, I know I can ask for it to run up to a year and then re-up it, I don't want the hassle.

Always wondered about this. I have a PC charger with 1913A folding brace that I like. Shoots great. Solid trigger. Waiting for the obsidian can. Adding the 33round mag and a suppressor definitely makes it WAY more fun to shoot. Looks good! The angled grip looks solid but kinda too big for this IMO. Fab defense has nice products though so Im sure it’s nice. Not a fan of the sba3. So it doesnt have a pic rail on rear? Or it does and that was the adapter to put the sba3 /buffer tube on?

When making a buying decision years ago I read an article where a stste police said the 357sig will punch through a set of duals on a tractor trailer. That was good enough for me. I've never regretted this choice.

Got mine in 03 for $300 roughly, very accurate. I can’t believe what people are paying for these nowadays…$100 bucks for an SKS should be all you need.

One advantage of using the G23 frame is that you can get it in gen 5 with the MOS cut out. If you want to use a red dot sight it is much easier to do with the MOS. I have also found that using 357 mags is ever so slightly more reliable than shooting 357s from a mag marked 40. Really close inspection of the follower will reveal a tiny difference. Long live the 357 Sig!

I can’t believe you gave up that gen2 you realize they just wanted that gun right? Someone at Glock wanted that gen 2 and came up with an excuse to get you to trade . I’d have NEVER given that up

I have a full hk kit I recently got in 40, they didn't last long on the site that had them either and cost 1 and a half times as much as the hk parts kit that isn't very full of hk parts... I also have the 45 kit from hk parts.

I have a 19 and 23 Gen 5 MOS and a 32 Gen 4. The 32 is a superior weapon and it's tragic that Glock didn't bring it forward. Only problem is that's it's become a dead round like he said and they can be hard (and expensive) to find in stores.

the tang wouldn't bother me. Can put a midwest or jmac picatinny adapter in and choose from many nice folders, or use it as an excuse to put a side folding trunnion in. If the weird bullet guide screw messed up the threaded hole, could put a riveted guide in. a 74 front sight block would likely hide the holes made for the pins for the 47 block, or could use a combo block and shorten her down to 12.5-14.5". If it shoots good, i assume the large horrible notch for the handguard retainer hasn't affected the barrel in any way. Throw an alpha rail on, and you'd rarely be actuating that handguard retainer. If it was cheap enough, Id say save it. But it would have to be cheap.... I just got an unmolested slabside for 600 last week. There are random good deals on these still, just have to be patient

I agree with the government, If you get shot with an AR15 that has a 16 inch barrel is gonna be less painful than if you get shot with one that has a 14.5 inch barrel 😂

This ammo is not very consistent. I can shoot all 14 rounds and about 5 or so will be about 6 inches off while i keep the red dot planted. I proved this by using Blazer Brass in the same gun and landed ALL 14 rounds in the same 2 inch group. swapped back to monarch and same issue, about 5 will be off by 6 inches. Its cheap ammo and i will still buy it.

I’ve been having a Gen 2 for a little bit now and it’s 36 years old , Feb of 1990 and I don’t see any issues with brittle plastic and yours looks a lot lot better than mine. This is the first time I’m hearing anything about brittle recalls

I will be building one of these in the coming months, but it'll be in .40 and with HK bolt and barrel.
