I had high hopes for this game but I can't see it getting better as a bunch of bad decisions have already been made. A) Gamepasses for increasing island size and inventory space on limits creativity when they want players to stay B) They released the game too soon. It's already been downvoted a lot because it's not balanced or has objectives C) I unlocked all the Underlings and now there's nothing left to do D) Money is super easy to get late game, the economy is already broken E) Asides for underlings, the game doesn't really offer anything better than Islands yet F) No incentive to go to other players islands G) No trees to plant to decorate your own island H) No physics system I) Enemies are annoying and can't really be dodged J) Being able to buy so many things in shop like tools and blocks removes the reason to craft stuff' K) The leveling system is confusing L) Some mobs are too hard
This is very true, and if you'd like to know how the game will feel in the future you can visit DV's older game named Spirit Guides, I wrote about it quite a lot in the pinned comment to explain everything.

What we know for sure is that it won't have trading, and according to DV's other game that he has made with the SAME staff and developers, this game might die out due to just remaining grindy and pay to enjoy..

When you progress in the game, it will be easy to get money, but it will be difficult to produce enough energy.
I see... guess I'll make another video about the game someday
I have started playing since yesterday but I will say that it is actually quite easy to get energy if you produce it from steam using turbines and I then store all of it in HV Battery which I was able to unlock on my first day. Tbh money is a bit more of a problem for me currently, although I found that producing coils seems to be very profitable.

for me, i just played high realms until i got mushroom underling then i played a little bit longer then stopped if they added a boss or some fun mechanic that isnt just breaking blocks for hours on end then i will start playing again

hi guys, to make this video i had to go sleepless again but some more info if you'd like to know: DV hired his staff and devs based on the previous game he has already finished which is named Spirit Guides. Currently, that game has 10-20 concurrent players... I'm afraid High Realms will die too now that I know that.. (since it doesn't seem like he wanted to hire new people for High Realms, i checked and devs of High Realms are also devs of that game, and so applies to the staff.) If I could, I would. The problem is that EasyGG don't really care about Islands as long as they have bedwars to make money, and fixing Islands, although it's possible, (mm2, which was made by a solo dev, had dupe fixes) is too much of an hassle for the company. I never really thought that EasyGG cared much about the community, nor what it wants. It became gradually clear with time and now we just get to see Islands decay. High Realms was a game I looked up to as a good replacement, but it's much worse than even new Islands.. I'll make a video criticizing High Realms as was requested, if you'd like you can join my discord server and dm me your opinion about the game as I want to show opinions of others too.

i can understand, i think that the part that's really missed out is engaging with other players, there are no vending machines or trading so it's just a singleplayer simulator.. (at least in my opinion)
