As a former optician, now retired, I just had to complement you on your choice of eyewear. I really love your glasses. I love seeing something a bit different in frames. I have a feeling their rather new as well. Not just because their so stylish but also I scanned thru your previous videos and this is the first time your seen wearing glasses. So since you weren't wearing glasses in your previous video from 10 months ago I am assuming you got glasses sometime in the past 10 months. You kind of seem like your not really sure when and for what you should be wearing them? When were you told to wear them? I got a bit of a look thru one of your lenses and from that you appear to be a little nearsighted. But you may also have astigmatism correction in your glasses as well which would mean that your eyes would benefit from having your glasses on pretty much all the time. Astigmatisms effects your eyesight at all distances. So in more recent video you were wearing glasses throughout the whole video which could mean your gradually starting to wear your glasses fulltime. One thing you do need to know. You can never "overwear" your glasses, but you can "underwear" them. Either way isn't going to do any harm to your eyes. But it's clearly better being able to see everything perfectly by wearing your glasses all the time than not seeing as clearly as you should by not wearing them more often. By the way you also just happen to look really cute wearing glasses. By the way I see you play guitar, I never learned to play any instrument but I did have a special talent in that I have a great ear for music and what sounds right. So when a good friend started a band back in 1966. Yes I'm really that old. I soon became the sound technician for the band. In 1967 the band was doing pretty well and starting to get known when they added a fifth member to the band. He played pretty much every instrument and had a great singing voice. Anyway he was only in the band a little over a year before he got an offer he couldn't turn down and we all totally supported him for leaving the band. The band he went to already had a recording contract in hand, We kept in touch with him and one thing lead to another and within a couple years he was playing with Steely Dan and was touring and recording with them. If you haven't heard of them Google the and I think you will recognize many of their hits. Anyway as if that wasn't enough not too long after that he became a member of The Doobie Brothers and with them he has collected 5 Grammy Awards and is still with today. His name is Michael McDonald and he has several hits as a soloist as well as with the Doobie Brothers. He had a big hit with a song called "On My Own" with Patti LaBelle. Anyway I should mention during his short time with my friends band it was his idea to change the name of their band to The Younger Brothers. The Younger Brothers had a very long and became a local favorite where I live for over 20 years. I was the sound tech for all of those years. Anyway Michael has a book coming out in May, it's A memoir called "What A Fool Believes" which was a big for him. He contacted us and wants pictures from his days in The Younger Brothers which he wants to include in his book. Were very proud of that. Currently The Doobie Brothers are on tour here in the US and will be playing here in St. Louis on August 24th.
