Have just watched all four parts of the John Sitton interviews in one go, and found them really interesting, especially about his time at Leyton Orient, as I used to watch them during John's time there, as well as his passion on non-football related issues, which I have some sympathy with.

I can understand John's gripes about cyclists, as I am a mere pedestrian and am sick of my safety being endangered by cyclists illegally cycling on pavements, and then getting abuse and/or threatened by cyclists when pointing out they should familiarise themselves with the Highway Code.

Seen a lot worse from that era in football. Proper stich up,read his book a very knowledgeable man. Probably too honest but I bet the apprentices and players who wanted to improve would of jumped through hoops for him. Very unfortunate timing with the tv documentary.

Love you John, should be in football or politics,and WHAT a memory for facts,figures,dates etc and SO clued up all matters/current affairs 👍👍, brilliant John.

What an interview. Love this geezer. I’m an old Chelsea fan and can remember him playing. Always gave 100% in a poor side. I dont think people actually realise the awe in which superkev was held by evertonians...it goes beyond what outsiders think...he went to the boozer on county road and served behind the bar !!.. it was astonishing, his huge smile..😪..every time the fans set eyes on him he was escorted wherever he was going on the fans shoulders...his personality and happiness rubbed off on us all...he was a very decent and kind man...idolised by ALL everonians then, now and forever...🍻✌

Love Dave Kitson. The honesty, he lets you into things on the inside of the game that others simply won't. As a season ticket holder where so much of the game we pour our earnings into devotion for oir club, is restricted by insiders and misinformed by the media .You cannot achieve things in football without an ego but Kitson is affected by that inevitably, yet so unaffected by a lot of the bullsh1t that goes with it. His autobiography will be better reading for us fans even than the secret footballer books because it will just open up the real truth on so much, and by reference or analogy help us understand why football is what it has become and why what happened , happened in so many situations.

Absolute best ever interview of any football player / manager.

John Sitton is an absolute legend. It's so unfair he was judged so harshly from that documentary. His football knowledge is there for all to see. Ultimately, it's football's loss!
