I love this warm up so much but it sucks because I’m an early early marcher so I’m normal band we do stupid easy stuff then in marching band it’s actually fun stuff
My marching band does this warm up but there are breaks in the beginning and our drumline captain chooses what the drumline plays for the warmup but it's usually doubles.
Just moved from 4th bass to snare line in '95 when this came out. It was just a lengthy warm up during drum camp BUT when the full band came together.......YUMMY!
I'm playing it on my clarinet and it is my first year back from not playing a wind instrament in 5 years and going straight into High school marching/concert band. I am so scared but so excited.
jose 1115 Lmao that's real funny. There's way more marching shows than you think that have tons of woodwind melody and harmony that's vital to the performance. There's only 5 woodwinds in my band that can still be heard over all of the brass and percussion/pit.

I was drum major, but played the tube, barisax, saxophone, baritone, trombone, lips were too full for the trumpet. Lol
