RIP Betty White, Golden Legend ⭐⭐.
I remember every time I heard this theme, it was almost time for Let's Make a Deal.
That's right! Let's Make a Deal followed All My Children back then.
The year was born, and always loved their theme music in the 80’s❤❤❤❤
This is a fantastic find!!! Thanks so much for sharing!!❤❤❤❤❤
She was kissing below his lower lip.
@@Marchant2 Yep. That way he could say the line, “Doorbell! Doorbell!”
You left out the part where Mary carried the mobile on her finger over to the corner of the office to hang up, and Ted says, "Hey Mare, love your ring."
Yes! Marcy lived with Carla! This confused me as a small kid I thought they were sisters which made me think Marcy was also biracial (I was 5-6)
Character themes? YES! Bob Cobert's music to Dark Shadows was iconic. Other Soaps shouldve copied this trend. I do remember Santa Barbara using a lot of hit tunes in their background.
Didnt Eileen get hooked on drugs a year or 2 after this?? And Vince busted her pusher and get him in juvie?
I remember [spoiler alert???] Marcy getting accidentally killed by Steve and his subsequent trial.....looks like she had bad karma! This is around the time that Joe returned. Even as a small kid, I always thought Vinnie was kind of a tough but cool guy.
@@maestroclassico5801 OLTL had such a great cast.
Soaps were so much better then!
Why the edits?
I regret that I edited it. I didn't think anyone wanted to hear the song ("An E on the End"). Boy, was I wrong!
RIP Comedy Legends ⭐⭐⭐.
❤❤❤❤❤
How I wish I could go back to those days!!!❤❤❤
Thanks for the upload !! Molly wasn't expecting that.
When I was a kid I used to record the theme to Maude and hoped that TV Land would play out the extended cut with that bad ass organ solo. 🤣🤣
Thanks for the upload !! I know it is hard to Get ANY clips pre 1977 at all !!
50+ years and just as good as ever!
I’m so happy that I finally heard the entire ending credits to Maude. ❤
It is a pity that many who loved Betty in Golden Girls and Hot in Cleveland..never saw her in MTM show.Miss White's performance as Sue Ann Nivens..The happy homemaker..netted her two Emmys..Betty was brilliant.❤
@@annrodriguez2891 I couldn’t agree more.
Wikipedia says this was actually called "Premier Occasion" by Robert Kingston but I don't know where they're getting that from.
It hasn't gotten better guys.
Funny how all the problems stay the same 50 years later. Only now we have full blown communism about to take control.
Clip prematurely clip/classic irregardless 😅🐖👱♀️
I still remember DYING on the Floor from LAUGHING when I saw this Episode. I still remember it same with the Carol Burnett Curtain Dress from DECADES ago!
I remember Pat Grey getting out of a vintage limo and walking in to Chanel 6. commercial for the news. wish this clip still exist.
The Mary Tyler Moore Show was just amazing and special
Thank you, so very much, for sharing all of these videos! Wow!!!
My pleasure! When I recorded this at age 14 (1971) I had no idea this particular recording would be the only surviving copy of this OLTL episode. I am so glad people are enjoying it so far into the future.
@@rhsharp They bring back so many memories! Long treasured memories!
3 beautiful women
love her so much over the years I am 64
Whenever I hear the MTM theme song, the world seems just a bit better.
The greatest TV comedy cast ever.
Mary's "mic drop" is priceless!
that Hussey, Betty White :D
This reminds me of the time Cloris Leachman went on the tonight show with Joan Rivers. Cloris said Joan Collins called her and said "we have to do something because im in love with your husband" Joan Collins really was having an affair with her husband!!!
3 superlative comic actors. Cloris was in a class of her own.
Too bad Phyllis and Sue Ann didn't interact more on air
Sue Ann - do you know how to remove chocolate stains?
Loved the whole cast, and they’re not really gone, just waiting for me to put that dvd into the machine.
Now that is comedy.
I hated Mary's new apartment.
@@davemathews7890 I think most people do, including the cast. I read it was director Sandrich’s idea because Mary’s old apartment reminded viewers too much of the departures of Rhoda and Phyllis.
@@rhsharp Her old apartment was so MTM. The new one always seemed a bit impersonal. Funny thing, after the show's debut, my mom cooked less for everyone else and went out and found her own job. People forget how influential this show really was. June Cleaver didn't work. Neither did Samantha. Mary not only worked, she had a successful career.
Love that everything in sight is avocado green
Cloris's line deliveries and timing were always so brilliant. No wonder Mel Brooks hired her for Young Frankenstein.
Betty ahd Cloris. Two comedy geniuses together. Love their line deliveries. Thanks for posting. I remember seeing this when it originally aired and Betty closing the door with her knee made me burst out laughing, almost as much as Carol Burnett coming down the stairs with a curtain rod across her shoulders in her Gone with the Wind spoof.
Betty White, brilliant line delivery and timing as usual. Martha Stewart owes her career to Sue Anne. I grew up watching the show in the 1970s and is still my favourite sitcom. So many great actors so good at line delivery, taking great writing and making it even funnier. Thanks for posting!
I think this was my favorite episode, as much as I liked all the characters Phyllis was the icing on the cake. Whoever cast her in that role was a genius and after all these years I still laugh
She should have dumped Lars
Three really sexy ladies right here. Damn, we were lucky.
I have been in love with Cloris for as long as I can remember
