In this video you will learn about IATF 16949 2016 Automotive quality management system. This standard is specific for automobile industry. Base of this standard is ISO 9001 2015 QMS standard but this requires some additional requirements which must need to be fulfill by organization. Clause 4.1 states that every organization needs to determine external and external issue with respect to its QMS scope. IATF 16949 Clause 4.2 states that organization needs to determine need and expectations of interested parties. IATF 16949 Clause 4.3 states that Scope must be defined for organization's products and services. IATF 16949 clause 4.4 states that organization must determine its processes and their sequences. It also emphasis on Product safety. clause 5 states that top management must demonstrate Leadership towards implementation of Automotive quality management system. IATF clause 5 also states that organization needs to define Quality policy, Anti-bribery policy, Code of conduct policy and whistle blowing policy. Top management must define roles and responsibilities of every employee and it should be documented. clause 6 states that every organization must need to plan before establishing QMS. Clause 6.1 states that, risks and opportunities need to determine by taking care of external & internal issues. Clause 6.2 states that organization's must define quality objectives of all processes. Clause 6.3 states that whenever there is any change in organization happens, it must be carried out in planned manner. Clause 7 talks about Support. Clause 8 talks about Operations / Implementation of clause 4 to 7. Clause 9 states that organization must monitor, measure, evaluate and analyze data of all process. The effectiveness of quality management system must be evaluated by regular internal audits. Internal audits must cover process audit, manufacturing audit as well as product audit. Management shall conduct review meeting to review the performance of all necessary parameters which reflects overall quality of product and customer satisfaction. Clause 10 talks about Continual Improvements.
