Absolutely wonderful sermon, Dave. Well presented, Holy Spirit inspired, truth about the most important thing that the Lord is saying to the Churches at this time.

Here is what I had in my notes for you: Jesus has been patient with this Jezebel. He’s given her time to repent, but she chose rebellion. Jesus is a good shepherd, and cares about his church, and is a jealous God. He sees it as ‘adultery’ when Jezebel and those following her choose sinful rebellion. That’s because the church is his bride. He doesn’t want her violated. So he sends Jezebel to her sick bed. ‘Bed of suffering’. She thought sin would lead to pleasure, but it leads in the opposite direction. She experiences the opposite of what a bed should do. No Comfort, No rest, No sleep, No restoration. This is the lie of sin. People always think it’s going to be a waterbed, but it’s always a sick bed. Don’t be fooled. Don’t tolerate sin.

So great to be back in Church today and to share Gods presence together.
