My marvelous vocal/life Coach whose pipes are a treasure heard round the world. Long may they ring!
Just started listening, Holy apocalyptic day 1043 in Revelation of God Charles Andrew Oyedele Ososami. Peace
Charles G. Finney did use the "anxious seat" but he did not come up with that innovation; in his memoirs, he said that he heard the Methodists were using that technique and it seemed effective, so he started using it.
I couldn't hear it. Make it louder. It's a beautiful hymn

Perceptions. Good point Rev Stefanie. About eight months ago, an old friend from draft resistance days invited me to join her in a site, administered by a Trump-following "conservative". I have been following arguments that scream out: right-wingers get the same information from a handful of sources that do not live in what I call "the real world". Rather than presenting arguments that attempt to persuade, there is a loop: hunger for words that reinforce preconceptions -> information sources that feed the hunger -> echoes of the misinformation -> It is a circle. I cannot find an originating point, as in this came first, leading to that. I ask myself, then, "Am I filtering in the same way?" I hope not. To overcome, maybe we need to think around what we see. To see more.
