    I am still really new so i can't offer tips, the only thing ive seen that seems to be a big splitting point for starts is starting with a 2x3 hub. Why? no idea lol

    Two questions, 1 why did you use a powered chute bin for the furnace chute entrance? 2nd are you goi g to use logic chips (not IC10) for the powered flops with a form of RequestHash command for your printers?

    I would suggest setting the fuel pressure to something like half one tenth of what you had here, after it got ignited the pressure spiked well over 12MPa. The lower initial pressure wouldn't affect the temperature much and it would still get plenty hot for electrum. It was cooling down basically because the gas was expanding as you had to went most of the pressure.

      Thanks for the tip. I'll have to give that a try, I'm definitely not an expert when it comes to the furnace

      @@level36 No worries. I have never played the game, I only watched too many videos on youtube and the game is not bad at replicating physics.

    I can't believe I found someone who doesn't do jump cuts every 5 seconds to speed up the video. It's nice to see the whole process without jumping around and getting confused about what happened. Just nice and slow, no rush, just enjoying the game.

    here are some power saving tips: one print off a portable light, a lg wireless battery and an Omni wireless charger (note its better to print off at least 5 wireless batteries for your tools and suit). turn on the portable light and place it into your suit or jetpack. you will never use your suit light again. for saving power with your other items: turn off your printers they draw power idle. for your filtration units code em to go idle (Mode 0) if there is no gas to filter. if your not good with MIPS here's a simple code for O2: alias db filtration (<- this line is optional) s db Mode 0 start: yield l r0 db RatioOxygenInput sgt r0 r0 0.01 (1%, if you want greater than 0 its sgtz r0 r0) s sb Mode r0 j start for the other gases just change the RatioOxygenInput to like RationNitrogenInput for N2 etc what the code will do after you insert the chip into the filtration's housing, is first set the filtration to idle mode (10W) and when the ratio of respective gas is above a threshold, (1% or 0, depending on what you set it to) it will go to active mode (100W) and go back to idle once its below the threshold. for overpressure protection, use digital valves instead of back press regulators. both devices use 100W while on. for a back pressure u will need it to be on at all times, a digital valve only needs to be on for like 1-2 seconds. with an IC10 chip and housing (note you can use the housing of the filtraion units for ea respective gas, ea filtraion housing has 2 pins, d0 and d1. thus you can connect to 2 external devices) simple code for a regular 6 pin ic housing: this will control 3 digital valves and 3 tanks alias d0 O2tank alias d1 N2tank alias d2 CO2tank alias d3 O2valve alias d4 N2valve alias d5 CO2valve start: yield l r0 02tank Pressure l r1 N2tank Pressure l r2 CO2tank Pressure sgt r0 r0 55000 (55MPa, or whatever pressure limit you decide) sgt r1 r1 55000 sgt r2 r2 55000 s O2valve On r0 s N2valve On r1 s CO2valve On r2 j start if you want to you can use backpressure regs if you want instead of digital valves. however a IC housing only uses 50W, and the above code is controlling 3 powered devices saving you 250 W. and if your good with coding you can break up the code and add in the needed lines in the filtration code above to automate ea gas for 10W ea!

    The asteroids are Phobos and Deimos, the moons of Mars. They're too small for their own gravity to have drawn them into a sphere.

    Pro tip, if you want easy “green house” air (CO2 O2 N2) that requires no filters, it’s easy with phase change. Set up an active vent that only comes on when the air is above 15 C (or any temp higher than -7 C) suck in mars air into a LARGE volume pipe network. Inline tanks will work, reg tanks won’t. connect some condensation valves (2-3) and liq pipes off the valves to an expansion valve to cowl/passive vent. What will happen when the pressure of the pipe net work gets to 5MPa or more the Pol will condense and “filter” out thru the condensation valves to. a liq pipe and evaporate thru the evaporation valve to be dumped to atmosphere. Leaving you with a “cool” clean gas for ur plants. If you set the system to kick on at lower than -9C it will filter out CO2 and Pol. A cold “breathing” gas for you. After the air is “filtered” you will need to pump out the air for storage and to “reset” the incoming mars air

      @level36 Місяць тому

      Thanks for the tip. I may have to try and build that in my testing world to see how it works. I did notice the pollutant condensing behavior while I was setting up the AC for the greenhouse, phase change gasses are a really cool system.

    If you want a low power cost cooling sys (50W idle 150 actuve). You will some logic, ic10 or old chips, a digital valve, radiators ,a cowl/ passive vent and gas sensor. Set the sensor and radiators in your hab/enclosure. Connect to a digital valve and pipe the rest to outside air, and place a cowl/passive vent to allow Martian air in. With logic set the digital valve to turn on when the temp of the hab is above target temp. Remember gas sensors read in Kelvin not Celsius, and refresh to convert C to K it’s C + 273= K. The above sys is t fast, but cheap expandable for the same power cost. Lastly a good ratio of radiators to room size is 2 radiators per 9 cubic frames (3x3x1)

    add a light inside..no not a grow light..just a regular light to see where you're going.. and a Siren light ontop,.. just like the extension of the battery area.. you can extend your grow food in another extension.. its seperate watering and heating system.. having its own seperate spaces... and build it in a building format. going up up up and away.

    You do not need to remove the waste tank to empty it. Just click on the tank and a menu will pop up. It is filled with hot CO2 and O2, which you can reclaim. I believe the Devs have given us a 7 day grace before a storm hits.

    Hey Man, Good Video, I know how hard it can be to make Stationeers Videos. Many have tried & failed but your first video is on the mark. Just one suggestion, if you do have an RTX card, You can use Nvidias Broadcast Application to better Isolate your voice. (Just to make it come through a little more clear). It is free if you have an RTX card and it works very very Good!.

      Thanks for the tip! I'm using Nvidia broadcast, however, I realized I had some of my audio routing setting mixed up only after recording and pulling in footage to edit. Next two episodes are unfortunately going to have some of the same issues, but after that it will be better!
