Principles of Surveying Lecture 13 (EARTHWORK COMPUTATIONS, The Determination of Volumes)
Переглядів 42 тис.3 роки тому
Earthwork computations involve the determination of volumes of material that is to be excavated or embanked in engineering project to bring the ground surface to a predetermined grade. Volumes Methods: 1- End areas method 2- Prismoid formula 3- Volume from Spot heights
Principles of Surveying Lecture 12 (Computation of Areas)
Переглядів 7 тис.3 роки тому
Estimation of areas and volumes is basic to most engineering schemes such as route alignment, reservoirs, tunnels, etc. Field measurement methods are the more accurate and include: (1) division of the tract into simple figures (triangles, rectangles, and trapezoids). (2) Trapezoidal Rule (3) Mid- 0rdinate Rule (4) Simpson's Rule (5) coordinates
Principles of Surveying Lecture 11 (Application of Theodolite)
Переглядів 6 тис.3 роки тому
Application of Theodolite: 1) Measuring an elevation of a point 2) Measuring an object height 3) Measurement of the length (width) of an obstructed building
Principles of Surveying Lecture 10 (Traverse Computations)
Переглядів 9 тис.3 роки тому
Traverse computations usually includes: 1- Inverse problem (given the coordinates of two points, and it requires to determine the distance and the azimuth) 2- Coordinate of a point (given the distance and the azimuth of a line, it requires to determine coordinates of point)

Civil Engineering Materials Lecture 17 hardened concrete properties
Переглядів 6713 роки тому
It is important for the engineer to understand the basic properties of hardened Portland cement concrete and to be able to evaluate these properties. The main properties of hardened concrete that are of interest to civil and construction engineers include the early volume change, creep, permeability, and stress-strain relationship. -Properties of hardened Concrete -Testing of hardened concrete ...
Civil Engineering Materials Lecture 16 (Mixing, Placing, Handling Fresh Concrete and Curing)
Переглядів 6833 роки тому
The proper batching, mixing, and handling of fresh concrete are important prerequisites for strong and durable concrete structures. There are several steps and precautions that must be followed in mixing and handling fresh concrete in order to ensure a quality material with the desired characteristics (Mehta and Monteiro, 2013; American Concrete Institute, 1982; American Concrete Institute, 1983).

Good❤
Best lecture ever🥹
Good lectures
My name Kwesiga Akimas, from Uganda, thank you for your services
Great 👍
Awesome 👌
Assalam Sir, where should I get your previous lectures 1 to 6 ? Thank you Sir, I'm really improving my knowledge with your lectures! May God bless you Sir
Thanks so much
3:25 special point❤
I'm highly interested
I am Mushemeza Genius a student at Uganda Technical College Bushenyi found in uganda. May God bless you.
This is a wonderful lecture ever.
May God grant you more years of good health so that you continue to share this knowledge that you have in a way that can be understood by anyone (fast learners, middle learners and slow learners) Thank you and good job
Sir I am a student sir plz provide me this slides plz sir❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you 🇺🇸.
Thank you sir ✊
very nice presentation, is there any way to obtain those slides of Surveying course?
thankyou so much!!
❤ thanks from Nigeria
3:00 "if point A and Point B are the same then the Horizontal distance and the Slope distance are the same" Thats not true. As you rotatat round a circle the the slpe distance is longer then Horizontal distance. Correct? Becuase you have the horizontal distance and you have account for a vertical variable aswell.
Big love ❤️ from Ghana
Please how do we punch 303 41’ 24’ on the calculator
pretty good
YOU ARE GOOD! THANKS FOR R SHARING!
please i need slide
بسال على الدكتوراه المباشرة لو عندك عنها معلومات

I would like to thank you very much, appreciating if you would upload lectures relating to coordinate systems , thanks again <3
at 10:44 I think you made a mistake sir. You found 81 degrees instead of 90. Could you please confirm it or explain the truth of it? I want to learn.
Very very informative and understanding vedios sir I learn alot❤❤❤❤
Thank you man of God
Please 1. what is the margin of error in using the odometer for every 100m distance covered? 2. Does the EDM method cater for curve surfaces in distance measurement? assuming the distance is not determined at intermediate points but from end to end?
هل استطيع التواصل معك؟ لقد قبلت بالمنحة اليوم الحمدلله
