Van Life In Kyushu Part 1: Exploring the Japanese countryside, Visiting Beppu and Oita

After spending some time in Fukuoka, we decided to hire a van and explore the southern Island of Kyushu. We got the van for about 6 weeks and will take our time slowly visiting each town. The van is the perfect size for us to deck out and experience van life in Japan. The weather is perfect for it since we were there in the month of June just before it starts to get too hot. After spending a day or 2 buying everything we need to make our van a comfortable little home, we headed East towards Beppu and Oita to visit the famous Onsen region. Once again, we don't have a plan of where we are going, so we just take it day by day. I hope you enjoy this video and stay tuned for more of our van life adventure in Kyushu in the coming videos.

Im curious if this Juayua is as peaceful as it looks in the video? Sometimes in central America even small villages can be very noisy due to people playing loud music as night and bus/motorcycle traffic etc.
@@DavidS-ox3li yes, you are right. On the weekends, Juayua really comes alive so there are loud music and fireworks that goes on throughout the weekends!
Fukuoka is one of the best cities in the world.

Brisbane climate is much like Florida. And the temperature is mostly warm. We consider it cold if it gets below 10C. Both are classified as subtropical, but are very different weather-wise.

Shibuya and Shinjuku can get dirty in some areas by daybreak. It's cleaned quickly though. Other than that Japan is spotless.
