@@allenvilleendurance Have completed 15 LA Marathons - so the thrill is gone for longer runs - also hard on the body. Was advised that my knees would eventually give way. I like sprints for tune-ups; Pasadena Tri, Santa Barbara Tri, Malibu Tri and Hermosa Tri which is this weekend. Also, Spartan and Tough Mudder remain challenging. The 140.6 Sacramento seems tempting, but I know it's wishful thinking. I'm certain I can float 2.4 miles, but not effectively swim 2.4 miles. 50 and 100 miles San Diego 'Bike the Coast' is in November, great scenery. So, nothing definitive or as lengthy as a +60km jog. I will say that I must place something on my calendar soon as training for Oregon for 8 months (with a coach) has my body wondering why I'm not doing something active. I can see how professionals suffer with bouts of depression as rigid schedules come to an abrupt halt and discipline [especially nutrition] starts to wane. I think I'm up 5 lbs. since the event. My race tenor was off that morning as I flew in the day of the global computer glitch. No excuses, but I only got about 2 hours of sleep for the contest. Kinda interested to see what my time would have been with a full 8 hours rest with deep REM. With that said, Oregon may be on the 2025 calendar. Time will tell. Really need to work on my open water skills. So glad spectators / cameras are not allowed on the swimming route to witness my occasional flailing. Talk soon.

Yes, I was closer to the right for sure. For siting for me it's easier, everyone was on the far left....I know for the next time! Did you use the on course Mortal Hydration? I noticed a lot of people in the forums discussing tummy troubles. HAHA, I always joke this course railroad tracks are just water bottle warning signs! Congrats on finishing the course! It's definite a goal of mine to do St G!

Thank you! Sorry to hear about the bike, if you have a trainer, get on the FulGaz app. It was a huge help for me. Biggest part was learning where to spend the energy and where to back off. The ultra is definitely something I swear I would never do. I always disliked running as its been a short coming, so I took it to another level!

On the slide that you installed the mic, it should work. The top section of the box will just be about a half an inch to an inch taller than the bike frame itself. Probably really not noticeable except to someone who knows exactly what they’re looking for lol

@@allenvilleendurance , that is what I figured. I was able to get my flat repair kit in the Felt box so I haven't ordered the QR box yet.

I liked it, great rid for someone starting out, and really good for those training for an event. Next year will definitely be something to come out for.

@@allenvilleendurance it was my first ride on fat knobby tires and maybe 4/5th time ever riding on dirt 😂😂😂 went for the 44miler and it was challenging without being a killer.
