To all of you who are grieving.
When people hurt us
for who we are
let them be
who they are.
When people reject us
for how we are
let them be
how they are.
When people find their peace
by judging us for our mistakes
let them find their peace.
When people need feeling safe by categorizing us
for what we do
let them feel safe.
When we were trying to be open
let them be closed.
Let their reasons
with them, respect them
and let’s grieve about ours.
Let’s fly
home
as phoenixes
meeting all our
butterflies
in our gardens
of tender
love
and grounded
dignity.
Let’s cuddle
with
all these
colors
who truly
love us
how we
simply are.
There I find me
loving you
as you
are
and your wonderful
colors - all of them -
are
flowing through my cells for years.
Always.
Every day.
In every moment, every wind, every fire, every water and every ground.
