We love everything about the Hmong New Year Celebration but we especially enjoyed this year due to the weather and all of the familiar and new faces we met. Our goal this year was to expose this cultural dream land to our family, friends and to the world. Next year we are exposing you! The Hmong North Carolina New Year is held every year on Thanksgiving day and lasts through the rest of the week. If you guys plan on attending the North Carolina & Georgia Hmong New Year do NOT wear white shoes because they will get dirty very quick. Both are great New Years with great food, sports, and after events. The Hmong people in both states really do promote Southern hospitality, everyone's so nice & friendly!
