Извините ...о чем доклад? О своей семье? Он хороший семьянин?🤔
Why would anyone with a brain ever think this was a good idea? My understanding is this nonsensical tradition still goes on at the school.
"Hello, I noticed your channel and realized that some important things are missing. Your videos and channel lack the right keywords, tags, and proper SEO optimization, which is hindering your content from reaching the audience. This is also slowing down subscriber growth. If you want, I can help you fix these issues and help your channel reach the audience more effectively. 😊"
Longhorn fan here. With the rivalry renewed, I came here to pay my respects. We're on field rivals but both universities are in the greatest state. We can't have one without the others. May the victims continue to rest in peace. Amen 🙏🏈

I ❤️ THORNS OMG
I cried to thorns
This is a nice documentary. I do want to mention that the Aggie Bonfire tradition hasn't stopped, just moved off campus. Although the university no longer takes part or sanctions it, a non-profit organization was formed that carries on the tradition. Bonfire started off campus by students (without a&m acknowledgement), was moved on campus with a&m oversight, and niw because of the accident, has been moved back off campus by students, who created a non-profit organization to continue it. The structure has been completed redesigned for safety, and the non-profit has a board of directors to literally oversee all aspects of it. Since the accident, Bonfire has taken on a new meaning. It also now serves as a living memorial to those lost and injured in 1999. It's built to remember. The students today are building what the 12 Fallen of 1999 started. It doesn't need to be sanctioned by the university or held on campus. The purpose of Aggie Bonfire since its beginning has been, and will always be about the students building it, regardless of location or size. For information on Bonfire today, visit bonfire.ag. Remember 11-18-99
excuse me if this is a stupid question but the 12 that died have nothing to do with the 12th man at the game? its just coincidence?
Not a stupid question. Thanks for asking it. The “12th Man” was E. King Gill, a student at A&M in 1922. During a football game, he came down from the stands, put on a uniform, then stood ready for the entire game in case the football team needed him. He became known as the 12th man. Aggies stand for the entire football game now to honor him and show the team that we are at the ready if they need us. And are called the “12th Man.” Tragically, we lost 12 at Bonfire in 1999. Many of us don’t like to call it coincidence…those 12 embodied the Aggie Spirit and are remembered every time someone mentions the 12th Man. I hope that answers your question. Gig’Em, Kate, Class of ‘06 and 4th generation Aggie
I’ll never understand the hubris Aggies have regarding their Engineering school. How did they ever think this was a good idea? I’m surprised it took as long as it did to have such a predictably tragic event. UH would never, and it’s why it’s the better school of Engineering.
Sure Jan

IM ON THE SPECTRUM IM SO HAPPY YEAAAAAAAAAAA
Longhorn here. I was awakened in the middle of the night by a phone call by my fiance, who was an Aggie. I drove to College Station in the middle of the night to try to help in any way I could. Unfortunately, I don't think I was much help given the number of people already there.
Great tradition but the size of it got out of control. Bigger is not usually better. RIP, CU Buff here but love A&M.

Here.
What could go wrong? O yeah
I worked on two bonfires: 1965 and 1966. One was 120 ft across the base and 90 ft tall; one was 100 ft at the base and 120 ft tall. We had no problems.
You were lucky.
The students in 1999 ignored a majority of safety measures. Student Bonfire (bonfire.ag) has resigned the entire structure to ensure this never happens again.
Anyone with half a brain would know it was absolutely dangerous. RIP to those who trusted the A&M faculty and administrators. They died for nothing. Very sad legacy.
RIP to the 12 who lost their lives, bless those who survived and live with their injuries.
gig em aggies
Mack and Sally Brown were really touched by accident. I attended game with F-16 flyover!
F-16's flown by Aggies nonetheless.
I visited the MSC last week and read about the 12 lost. Tough. Here.
