wooo, what an amazing lesson, thank you a lot mr George and David also for the chance to see a video loike this, congrats both of you ;)
woah. you're REALLY good at this. thanks so much for sharing
To all the silly people falling over him calling Wendy Carlos Walter....Technically he is right. At the time of recording that album, it still was Walter. Stop being overly PC.
wendy carlos*
Not at the time of recording that album.
Nice
Not even close enough 😂
You are always amazing
This series is an unbelievable service, thank you so much 🙏🏼
3:00 is what you came for
Easier to buy the record
I have a Sledge and your videos are excellent!!!!!
Well I'm trying to follow you, and all good till I get to the arp sec and it just doesn't sound correct! I'm following you nut I think your leaving a step or two out? In my Black Sledge there's Alt.Up and Alt. Down NO Alt. Up&Down or I'm I missing something?
Thank you, just picked a used one recently... great, straightforward tutorial!
show some respect........its pronounced Moog ( Mowg / rhymes with ...vogue ). Nice video by the way, Neutron is a beautiful beast !!!!
This sounds great Dave , nice backing Vocals mate
Is that a pube poking into the video at the beginning? :-D
after 7 years i own one of those, and i'm finally starting studying them thanks to this videos!
I might take some hate for this.. but that Tomita record is bloody dreck - with one bizarre exception. It's just track after tasteless track, UNTIL... The Engulfed Cathedral, which is a truly beautiful, lyrical and masterly rendered piece, totally out of place on this stinking heap of a record. Just not sure what to make of it.
Soundtrack seems to my ears even better than the original D50, a little more transparency and depth. Thank you!
Thanks for this tutorial, brilliant synth
Hello There, my name is Mr Cannadine T. Boxill-Harris, I was wondering if they need to do the exact same version of Never let her slip Away by Andrew Gold why don’t they just Replace the Sound with a Musette Accordion 🪗 and make this Musette sound for the Accordion 3 and a half times More Deeper than the Sound and also Replace the Sound to an 8 Times More Deeper Chime Bell or Even an 11 Times More Deeper Still Drum Sound, why couldn’t you use your own Extended Words so the other instrument can replace the lead vocalist that who have sung this Particular Song Before by Andrew Gold Because it is Still my Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Favourite Songs Ever Since I was about 11 Years of Age Thank You
Brilliant, one of my favourite lead riffs ever :)
what is the keyboard model?
Her name is WENDY.
Stop being annoyingly PC.....He is right, technically...At the moment of recording that album, it STILL WAS Walter.....Please stop your WOKE bullshit.
Idiot.
For all your explanation, you played the wrong notes. Listen to the original. Not trying to be unkind, this simply isn’t correct. E3 G3 A3 G3 D3 C3 D3 E3 This is the sequence that inspired me to build step sequencers.
Is it true Neutron is pretty silent?
Why have I never seen this? Thank you so much for uploading this.
Great job on Baba. I have the black key sledge but wondered if you ever tried the synth background to Townshend's Emminence Front? still working on that one.
this made me pretty curious! but what is actually the settings for alphavilles' "for ever young" intro-sound?! min 4:45? could you publish this in another tutorial? or just list the settings on a sheet? thanks a lot! didi from cologne, germany cc.:got this wonderful sledge-hammer on my own!
Cinco anos e atual ! Aprendi muito !! Thanks !!!
Não sei porque quando vejo seus tutoriais eu me lembro de um cockpit.
Obrigado por postar. Uma grande aula.
Que material interessante !! Bem explicativo. Obrigado por postar.
Ive now watched all of these. FAB! I wish there was more direct to the point no waffle patch-creation tutorials on hardware synths :)
thank you so much for this master-piece! please never delete from the channel!! didi, köln, germany
Sublimely simplistic scalpel sharp analysis of complex synth tracks. I don’t own a Sledge but if you want to be a better sound designer then please listen to David. This approach works with every subtractive synth. Every single one.
I owned a Minimoog Voyager. The Behringer Neutron sounds good in ways that has me wishing I never bought a Voyager. I’m just waiting to see what the longevity of a Behringer synth is.
Awesome keyboard 🎹🎹🎹👍😎
Absolutely amazing, thanks
if you turn on paraphonic mode it gives you an even better pad sound
Very clever from one synth.
Hearing this song in my highschool days was the first time I realised that synths could sound as no other instrument. Nostalgia.

Sounds really great! What are you using to control the Neutron?
At the 1st tone , Tomita's pictures of an exhibition sprang to mind.....
Great tutorial, thank you very much!
It would be great to hear more Tomita patches. Without him Id never have discovered synths :)
My Sledge will arrive soon. Your video is a great honor and luck to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I will work harder because I learned how to make a good sound from the best teacher.
Baffles me why they didnt put in a unison mode
God bless you for your kindness in sharing your knowledge. What a knack you have for teaching. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
