The only fix is cutting the foam dampers.

Open it, cut the foam inserts to a fat 16th of an inch, put it back together.

You have to be very careful when using these clamps, they will pinch the crap out of your hand.

I just bought these, 2 of them. Im a professional contractor of 25 years. I got tired of boxes. So far so good. The quality is good, the price is phenomenal, 40 bucks here in Canada. I like it a lot so far. Im half way through a large renovation and its working out.

Gotta say well impressed by the DCD999 only using a 4ah battery too!!! 42% more power (claimed) with a flexvolt battery! The newer angled motors SDS+ don't hit like the inline motors until you get way up the range it seems, Got a DCH133, my DCD805 combi drill could maybe... manage but thought what the hell can do chipping/tiles with it as well. Dealing with old concrete here, SDS may edge out a bit more but again wow for the DCD999

Damn, I gotta stop buying tools during the month of November and December! These two months, cost me so much money from all these great deals!

You can hear the difference in quality when cutting.the dewalt is way under powered and sounds like it’s struggling while the Milwaukee sound like a fine turned machine. the whole Dewalt 12 V series feels like children toys tbh .I made the mistake of buying the 12v dewalt 1st gen impact when they came out and quickly returned it cause it was extremely underpowered and light
