All BABYMETAL DEATH introductions Part 2 (2015 August-2017 December)

This one is pretty short and mostly Five Fox Festivals. Unfortunately, they slowed down with the content after 2015.
Fun fact: The video at 3:21 is actually a recording of TBS News recording them doing the intro(which you can see in Part 1 linked above at 19:51). They kept this one and used in a later interview instead of calling them over again just to do the introduction, so in reality the clip in this video at 3:21 is like 6 months off-chronology, but these are put in order of them being released to the public.

They played with the words, because in Japanese to say "I am" it is "desu" like "Moa Desu", but associated to English may sound somewhat like death, which fits with a Metal related content.

What they are NOT showing in any of these videos is the performers introducing their "product" onstage BEFORE the audience knows how to interact. Don't tell me that these audiences knew exactly how to do those synchronized chants along with the girls from Day 1. That's ridiculous. There had to be a time when it was all very strange to audiences to see this.

As an American it sounds like their saying “this” which for a child to end a sent a with the word this sounds very cute. I get this is a Japanese thing that seems bizarre for children to be chanting death,but to easterners I suppose salvation from the crucification and blood of Jesus is bizarre.

I see some people confused and arguing over if it’s desu or death. it’s both!! that’s the point! desu (pronounced dess) is not easily translatable. it can mean “this is” or “it is” but in this case it means “i am”. if you were to say desu(dess) with a cutesy lisp it ends up sounding like death(deth). it’s a way of introducing themselves that is both equally adorable and metal. the reason why moa’s sounds more like death is because she does a more over exaggerated cute lisp! i hope this helps!
