Hello, the coldest night we had was -16c, that was on the Northern Lights tour. We only ever priced up for New Years so can’t say how it compares to the rest of the year. It was an expensive place to visit, especially for food and drink but definitely worth it. 🙂

Hello, we were the August 2023 so it was the summer holidays but it never felt overly crowded. We didn’t find the wait too bad for the different activities. The surfing we went early morning when we could. There was a quite a queue during the day. There was no queue for the roller skating, we got straight on once we got the skates. The dodgems had the longest queue but it moved surprisingly quickly. You only get a few minutes in the dodgem cars but it was long enough. We just rejoined the queue for another go. The sky diving you have to book your time slot on the app. We booked ours the day before when the booking system went live around 5:30/6pm. It’s probably around 45mins to an hour total time. You have to get kitted out and watch the safety briefings before you have your turn. Again you only get a couple of minutes flying time so it does go quite quickly. We really loved our holiday on Anthem. There was so much to do for all ages. 🙂

Hello, there is a safe in the wardrobe but it’s fairly small, similar size to those you get in a hotel room. You would probably get an iPad in it, not sure about a laptop. There wasn’t anywhere for larger items to be locked away. Large suitcases go under the beds so you could put a lock on those. 🤷‍♀️🙂

It was amazing. We stayed in the paradise honeymoon beachfront grande luxe club level. Would definitely recommend the room. 🙂

6 months in advance would be good.

Jumping in to say my mother and I just planned a trip around 6 weeks in advance, and accommodations were starting to get booked but we were still able to get all the tours we wanted.

It was a bit of a last minute booking for us, we usually book at least 6 months before we travel. We booked everything in October but found that a couple of the hotels we wanted were already fully booked. I would book the excursions as soon as possible so you get the dates/times you want. We definitely recommend Brim Explorer for the boat trip. 🙂

How was the food?

We enjoyed everything we ate, there was a lot of choice. The pizza was amazing and we really enjoyed the Kimonos, the Japanese restaurant too. I think they have made some changes to the restaurants since we were there. 🙂

Hi, sorry for the slow reply and I’m glad you enjoyed the video. There were plenty of veggie/vegan options from our experience. I’m neither but my wife doesn’t eat a lot of meat and there were always veggie soups or vegan options on our excursions and places we ate out at. Hope you have a great trip.

Thanks 🙂 The snorkelling is free with Sandals (or was when we went in August 2022) and you could go every day to different dive sites. The SNUBA (different to SCUBA in that the tank stays in a raft on the surface) was a paid excursion with Sandals but absolutely worth it. 👍

We went in July 2022 so it was at an early stage. It was maybe only screened off and they perhaps hadn’t properly started as we didn’t hear any noise at all.

We visited in July 2022. Work had begun on the new area but we didn’t hear anything and it didn’t disrupt our stay in any way. Things may be different now however.

There were no airport issues flying from the UK. That was the case for the GoPro and the drone. 👍

Thanks so much, Billy. 🤗 I’m glad you enjoyed watching. Ah, too many cocktails to mention (or remember!) Bob Marley and Ziggy Marley were two favourites, as was the Pina Colada. The Rum Runner was a less sugary cocktail and very good. I also enjoyed a simple mix of rum and the guava juice from the room mini bar.
