@@gregkent8955 I absolutely enjoyed the train. I purposely took it because I knew I loved the experience of just kicking back and relaxing and sleeping when I wanted to sleep and watching the scenery go by and munching on food I had taken along in a little cooler for the journey. And a really cool plus is that you can meet some really neat people on the train. I hope you have a blast when you take it in 2025.

@@rayworx I'm sorry you feel that way. These videos are mainly for my memories. If others can glean something from them that will help them plan their trips, that's awesome, and those that don't like them don't have to watch them. It doesn't hurt my feelings. We all have different tastes and interests.

Nice route. Don't worry about other comments. By all means each of us are learning how to improve movies etc. The best would be the perspective from the driver's compartment/room 😊 but to get there in... I think not's so easy😉 i like travels by train.

I love this part of our state. You are very fortunate to be able to live. It's a beautiful area. I especially love it in the fall.

Thank you. I'm far from a pro at this but I make these videos primarily to help me keep the memories alive and as the way to back them up so I don't lose them but if others enjoy them and can benefit from them then that is a definite plus.

Yes I had heard all about that. It looks like they had all kinds of neat plans when were there.

The drive in is beautiful, although part of the road is rough. I always see wildlife in this area. Other than pullouts and walking around the lake area, most of the must see sites require a hike. You can take a boat ride out on the lake as well, and there are horse back rides also available. It's a beautiful area.

We had a wonderful time for sure. You are lucky to live in such a beautiful area.

We did see some younger children on the trail but honestly I wouldn't have taken my grandkids. If your parent that holds their hands and watches them very closely it's probably fine but then it might not be as enjoyable because you'll be stressed out. There are some places where child or an adult could fall and get hurt. It is a gorgeous hike.

Our campsite was perfect. There are others around, but the campsites are large and there are some trees so we felt reasonably private.
