nah after lvl 30 the game is boring af and repetitive. At least the main missions had some story and make the gameplay more fun but after the main missions the game is useless. You literally have nothing else to do other than the side quests that give no good reword and trying to get higher tier doing the same and the same stages all the time. BORIIING

As of today chapters in the game are unlocked free to play for everyone.You don't have to spend money to have fun in the game, specially now that the episodes are free,however if you wanna play more seriously you will probably end up spending some money.

theres nothing really much to do besides waiting everyday when you did ur daily alerts until you have higher CR for more, unless your a full legendary member, but how manny pays for this game? thats the question. theres also limited things you cant do or wear, like the utility belt slots of 4, you dont have a league (guild) (clan) whatever, so you have to get people together other way if ur not into beeing solo and miss social aspect and even then theres not much social in this game, its only based on being toxic and doing duels at end game, its sad sorry for the spoilers, and then theres the pay to win aspect of the game itself, and the devs just scamming on that part in my opinion but whats good for you its ok, and well, ill digres and plug anyway non the less someone says. leveling up artifacts as a non legendary member or too poor not to buy on the shop for upgrading the artifacts, it sorth of suck, but its ok too. sortha. or not, but yeah. you will feel dead at some point with no motivation other then the same brainless grind going on and on for hours everyday with no solution but your moms credit card or steal your friends. HOW EVER.. its still possible to get high CR (Combat Rating) and have high level artifacts without paying for the game at all.

I am a free to play player and im 290 CR, i just used the skip to 290 CR when it was free, and past that i just grinded for styles etc. So i wouldnt say that you have to pay to play the game the way its supposed to be played, just have fun with the game, nothing else matters.

I can confirm this is a pay to win game. I played end game content of this back when it was originally out, after level 30 expect to pay real money on things like dlc packs, powers, and a monthy fee to unlock the actual full game. Its sad cause its actually a fun game, but as the op mentioned you want the next tier combat rating level and gear you gotta pay up .

If your a "Don't waste money" player, leave. There is nothing for you.
