Layne Stanley was good but Chris Cornell was incredible.
At 28:30 Denis gives some of the best insight into a position and fighting and what goes on by real professionals
Awesome...good to see these guys still looking sharp....
Asuka took an Ass Whooping of the Century by Minoru Suzuki, I don't think taking a Stiff Kick by Shayna Beszler is going to Effect her lol
Never thought I'd consider Shayna cute
I hate pro wrestling never watched her wrestler or even fight ..but she's definitely a down to earth soul it's nice to hear her get success
Ty 4 your service

Did he say Travis Fulton rip
A classic indeed! For some extra context... Masvidal & Gandulla were supposed to be fight on that card, and if my memory serves me correct, about two weeks prior, Jorge badly injured his knee and Gandulla (who was supposed to fight Rea) could not get a visa for the fight, he had some type of issue with his passport. We were new to Bodog and we didn't want our gym to be considered unreliable, so David took the fight on short notice. David was walking around at 203 or 204 pounds (he normally fought at 185) which is why he looked undersized (the fight with Rea was at 205). Furthermore, he had a separated rib prior to the fight, so he wasn't even training going into it. It was quite ballsy. I was competing against Marcelo Garcia in the same weekend, which is why I wasn't there, but his corner (I don't want to mention exactly who) lost his mouthpiece an hour before the fight... so they had to scramble and found an unboiled mouthpiece literally minutes before the match, and that's why his mouthpiece kept falling out. David, being such an animal, made it work regardless lol! This was a great scrap, both guys fought their hearts out, in the searing Costa Rican sun and humidity, super epic. I watched your whole breakdown gentlemen, thanks for bringing this back, great seeing this fight again, with the breakdown. Mr. Iturrate, you always put on great shows!
Thanks for the kind words, much respect. Marcos you ready for your interview?
He should be in the hof
Im on it
after all this bullshit anti trust law suit this was always about money and not about change u took the deal and sold every fighter out u are a thief rob maysey
Thank you Miguel and todd...always interested when this alert pops up
One of my favorite 90's fighters.
the incident with Tank Abbot in the elevator?
can someone please shed some light on the "infamous" brawl with Tank Abbot in the elevator? In the Japanese periodicals it was stated that Pat got sent to the hospital after that incident, and another source claimed Pat got jumped.
If you look, Smith pulled out of the tournament after winning a 1 minute fight where he appeared unscathed. Tank fought Varelans instead of Smith, and though he won, he decided to give Smith a little "love" for pulling out of the fight.
@@MMACOLLECTOR74 yes, if you are talking about UFC #6 Pat Smith pulled out of the tournament after defeating Rudy Moncayo but the story was because he had some stomach issues. After the fight with Moncayo he was unscathed, but examining his behavior, he did show some signs of internal discomfort. He pulled out of the Ultimate Ultimate (where he was supposed to fight Dan Severn) for similar reasons. The Tank Abbot incident was never clarified.
@@koguma.newyork1 Regardless of the reason, Tank was mad that he pulled out. I think Rudyard talks about it a bit in his interview on the MMA Museum as well....
Palmer went from going 16-0 to 23-21. Sad turn of events for a promising fighter.
This what I will now think of when I see the word "flattened"
Check out the interview next week. He had roughly 200 fights by his estimates, including kickboxing and undocumented MMA. Very interesting story we found him living in New Jersey.
I think I'm going to like this channel
@@Free_J_ghasta thanks for the attention!

Where's the rest?
With respect, Joe Charles also suffered a stroke and he has some issues remembering things and repeating things, so I held off on publishing it.
@@MMACOLLECTOR74 Such a shame...
Living legend !
This was a great interview. N matter what you say about his speech, his stories are still honest and on point!
Brian Johnston was a total Savage! Cursed with the worst matchmaking possible in the ufc. This guy had first round draws against Shamrock and Bobish, and ran into Frye in the Semifinals once. He was a tough outing for just about anyone!!
DOnt forget Coleman as well.....
Great guest!! Another under appreciated pioneer. 👊🇨🇦
Very cool
Brian was such a badass in the UFC days. One of the first young athletes.
This is amazing!
