BremSter playing various types of games. This will include Live Streaming various types of game styles. Exploration, story, ARPGs, Open World games, other types of RPGs, whatever takes my fancy.
If you are after a specific style of game, or a specific style of play; this is not what I will be doing. This will be an exploration of "gaming".
This will include pencil and paper Solo Role Playing Games, with the plan to cover and review some systems, talk about some RPG systems and concepts and work on improving solo storytelling using different RPG styles and games.

Introduction to BremSter's Solo D&D Series
Edit. Thank you for informing us that the negative comment was Session 03. My original post is below. Thank you for letting us know about that comment "why bother with Last Epoch", but I'm struggling to find which stream it pertains to. Was it part of the live chat which disappears, or was it removed by a moderator, or was it on a stream I've missed?
Dang, brooo... you must not realize POE 2 came out. Nobody cares.
Played it, waiting for them to fix some stuff before I go back to it. It was PoE2 that made me want to play LE again. I play whatever is fun to me; while I have been playing this I have been playing Hidden Cats games. Go watch PoE2, I am going to give it a few months, maybe after the next D4 season, then try it again blind.
I care. Don't presume to make decisions for me.
IMHO, older games, puzzles, stuff in general still have value and can give good enjoyment. If you have a different viewpoint, that's up to you, but please allow the rest of us to enjoy what we like.
What a lovely game, simple yet super fun! (and those bolts and nuts are a pain!)
I'm so glad that you managed to get this back. Watched it through as VOD, as well as live and it hasn't lost any enjoyment.
I am so glad that this is back. Losing this made me feel less excited about the game, now it is back I think I am much more likely to try it again. Even though everyone is "over it" already, and people and are only looking at builds from people with hundreds of hours that are amazing, I just want to do my little thing.
@@BremSterGames I can imagine at least half a dozen people looking at you revisiting Tiny Glade :). If it'll make you happy, go for it. If you'll prefer Cyberpunk, No Man's Sky, Light No Fire, Strange Things, etc., we'll join you there if/when we can.
@keithmower921 I will return. I had stopped after the stream got lost because I was wanting to review what I did, and it was a little weird to lose it. I want to get back to it, I really do.
This is so nice!
I didn't know the microphone was broken for this. Nothing I can do about it now, oh well. Sorry everyone.
Good timing
it seems like the video setting changes in the streaming software have fixed the issue with the game being in HDR, but the stream being in SDR, and the colour looks better. So that is a win. I have been watching this and trying to figure out what I can do to improve, because I don't want to give up on this game. Games being hard is one thing, but having a serious skill requirement of understanding the game and it's mechanisms and all the options in order to get through the first few hours of content in a game of this scope I still think is a massive fail on the developers part, and I think it's them telling new players that they are not welcome. A few things I want to try. Moving to WASD movement which should give me more precise control, but I will need to practice it a lot to understand how to use it; maybe I can map the abilities to different mouse buttons or something. Use the skill gem I have that I couldn't use without extra Strength now that I have more strength to try to get a mobility attack. Try to gamble for a weapon upgrade to do more damage. Spend some time just re-running the last few areas to try to try to get an upgrade, but definitely get some more levels. I don't mind doing this, but it would be nice if I wasn't restricted to the same 2-3 locations over and over and over in order to do it. That is going to get old and boring very quickly at higher levels; run the same couple of maps 20-30 times to get enough xp to be able to progress is dumb design. Here is hoping some tuning can happen to make the game work for newer players to the game. Experience PoE1 players don't care about these entry parts of the game, they won't spent much time here, but for newer players, this is the make or break.
I thought for a few moments that you were playing this like your current playthrough of Cyberpunk - by being Batman. I soon realised that you had chosen to go clubbing instead. Seriously, I'm enjoying your approach to this game. It's looking good. Thank you.
There is a definite problem with this game, in that it expects you to be a master of the game to the point where you can execute 20 minute boss fights less than 4 hours into your play through of the game. If this is your first PoE experience, I don't see how this works. I expected 20 minute fights to be the end of the game, not the start. If this is the start, and the end is 45-60 minute fights with perfect execution, then this game's systems feel completely broken.
With the new HDR monitor the graphic settings for streaming are obviously off. I will try to fix this for the next stream.
Work was brutal 😟
gg got my season set royal ring and the ring of emptyniss in 1 night and 1 morning (b4work)
I agree with you 100% dude, especially about the Runes that you need to make decent Runewords. At 70 years old, I play all day-everyday (retirement and all) and just keep getting the same crappy runes. The rest is spot on too. Good video.
Thanks. I am just someone who wants the game to be fun for as many players as possible and not something people feel they need to stress over. I really appreciate the response, especially as doing this sort of content really isn't my normal thing.
PB and Chip struck the 11pm Cracking the Cryptic slot 🎉. Im literally crying with joy.
The build is impressive, I just passed my first pit!
It's seriously broken compared to every other class; but it still doesn't help you get the Ancestral Items you need to drop. I think the item rate drops this season as just ... a little broken.
I bet, I’m trying to get gear for my Spiritborn right now. Definitely taking forever.
I wish to make my apologies for my frustration with the state of the game in this livestream. I have no idea how many Blizzard developers, testers, or support staff were impacted by the weather events in the SE United States over the past weeks, and might be right now dealing with the life threatening impacts of Hurricane Milton. This is a video game, and anyone who puts a video game ahead of making sure they and their families are safe is doing it wrong. If there are bugs because people were impacted, and we have to assume that people are either directly impacted or have family that are; then those bugs are not the most important thing right now. Best wishes to everyone. BremSter
Watching the stream through for the second time a year later, and the bug still leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. Shame that the developers didn't handle it better.
Actually they did handle it pretty well. This bug was introduced in the patch released the day before I played this, and they fixed it only a day or two after I was hit by it. So really, it was discovered and fixed really quickly. Bugs happen in games, the code is extremely complex.
@@BremSterGames Thank you for this clarification.
Regarding all the conversation in chat about signing up to Discord. I created a new discord account and it didn't ask for any financial information at all; it just asked for an email address, and to confirm my age with a birth date. That was all I needed to create a discord account. Make sure if you are signing up to discord, you are signing up on the real platform, not something pretending to be Discord. discord.com/
Stream Ending: Our area loses power and the stream ends suddenly when I lose internet access. I will pick this up next stream and I assume the last couple of scenes will need to be played again. Sorry everyone.
ooh, FUN :) and the sound effects are adorable
Been looking forward to watching this! Finally have the time. Okay, its official. I WANT THIS!
Cool looking graphics. This looks fun.
This update completely caught me by surprise. Fishing was the last thing I expected them to add to the game. I'm not complaining. I am finding it a fun addition...just wasn't expecting it lol. Glad to see you're doing the expedition.
I am a little overwhelmed, but really having fun with this. I agree I didn't expect this, but I am very glad it's here.
Even if it feels like you haven't done a lot this session, you got a little more world-building because of Zace (sp?), and you're figuring out the wilderness tables and such early so that the rest of the campaign can be smoother going.
You mentioned you weren't sure if this was going to be fun -- I find it *fascinating* because Deep Scar is so neat! The way R&V have stumbled into an adventure, and this was just dice rolls and your imagination is so cool!
I got Paul Bimler's toolbox books recently, and I really liked seeing being able to see them in action. Romina and Vint finding the druid gravesite, and finding out about Romina's connection to this dwarven city was really cool! Thank you for posting them on UA-cam.
I am planning on returning to this, it's just a case of mental bandwidth.
@BremSterGames I hear you there! I'm happy following along with what you have posted, and if you post more, great! I've got you subscribed. *thumbs up emoji*
Hi BremSter. To be honest, I have not found the storyline in this game to be impressive. I like everything else we can do (the sandbox aspect and all it offers). Hope you have a great day. I am guessing it is Wed for you in Australia.
I am not calling the storyline the best I have ever seen, or even a great story. But I am loving what is there. I try to find the good in things, and I don't expect the story in a proceduraly generated game like No Man's Sky to be as good as something like Cyberpunk 2077, not even close. But I am really getting into the concepts that this game has put into it, and the way they make it that every player's experience will be unique. I think this is a fascinating concept and something that I just really appreciate.
Hi BremSter, I've often had the same thoughts about the loot and buildings on the planets - the cookie-cutter way they are now, if they just had a variety of looks instead of just the same across every planet, it would be more interesting.
Communication is not what HG does well. That is obvious in their game and outside of it as well. Guess we just have to take the good with the bad. There is a lot of good though :)
Here's an idea for using exosuit expansion slots without buying one at a space station or anomaly. After you repair a drop pod, mark it with a base. That way any time you get one of those expansion slots, you can go to that already repaired drop pod and apply the expansion to your suit.
Hi, BremSter. Sorry to hear you aren't well. I should head to bed soon, but I'll keep you up as long as I can.
Hi BremSter. I am glad to see you are enjoying the game. I am enjoying watching you from the USA, about 16 hours behind you. You mentioned exocraft in the game. That is one of the things I would say HG somewhat failed on. They are so slow unless you upgrade them fully, yet the upgrades in the space stations are hard to find (S class). I use a mod from Nexus Mods called: Inertia Drifto - Exocraft Speed and Boost Enhancer which makes them much more useful. Just thought I'd mention it. I have played this game over many saves and nearly 3000 hours so far, no end in sight. I often do "no starter ship" saves and set it up like a personal expedition where I have access to the exocraft blueprints from the start. I still have to unlock them and craft them, then I have to reach several goals, including fixing at least 1 crashed ship on the planet before I can purchase a good ship to fly into space with.
Sounds fun. I can see a massive thrill in being able to set yourself some personal goals and attempt those. Doing different games modes and different challenges. For now I am enjoying just exploring and learning mechanics. If it takes me 1000 hours to get there, that’s 1000 hours of fun.
Hi BremSter, I just wanted to note that if you mark a dissonance camp with a save beacon or something, you can keep using the same one to find more and more ships on the same planet until you tire of it or find what you are looking for so you don't have to keep finding more camps on that one planet. In this latest set of updates, there seems to be a bug where, when you pick up a gravitino ball, the sentinels don't ever deactivate. Also, they don't seem to be calling the sentinel ships when you get in your ship and leave. Hopefully they will fix it soon.
As mentioned at 1:30:45 I have logged a support ticket with Hello Games about the Twitch Drops I have earned not showing up in game, with all the details they have requested. Lots of screenshots and account details. Lets see if I can get this resolved or not.
I started not really liking this game, but I'm hooked now. Even before stuff started happening, I had a bad feeling.
It's a story based game, you know something is going to go wrong.
Viewers please note that there is a technical problem with BremSter's microphone until about 2:31:00. Commentary starts then.
After this video i did a complete reset of my graphics settings. Fortunately I have kept a Document with a text copy of what I wanted my settings to be. It seems to have fixed the issues I was having, although there is a new update to NMS coming out today, so we will see how it all plays out.
Wow. That was a journey.
Glad you enjoyed it. I have a few games I have been given or recommended that are similar to this that I want to get to, but managing my time and emotional energy are part of it. If I know I won't be able to get through something in a moderately short period of time, I don't want to start it.
I'll admit it is kind of nice to binge this
This might motivate me to move onto True Colors earlier than I expected. I am so glad you are enjoying it. These videos are not watched much, but if someone is enjoying them, it was worth doing them; because I enjoyed them, and sharing that is awesome.
I can't believe I didn't know you had played this already! I've been looking forward to watching this.
Thank you for sharing. It looks like a very good 'relax before bedtime' computer game (and a very engaging 2 player game). If you spent longer explaining the mechanics of the game it wouldn't have been so interesting. I hope that you are enjoying your well earned holiday.
Hello, I have been watching your videos. I also play No Man's Sky and have over 2800 hours in over the last 3 years and several different game saves. I find it a lot easier to fly the ships in the game using an xbox controller rather than keyboard and mouse (just fyi). I noticed you have complained about how the ship flies. Here is a tip for you on making a lot of units, also to get a sentinel ship which can hover, etc. Assuming you have scanners installed in your current ship, look in the galaxy map for a dissonant pirate system. Find the dissonant planet there. Look around and find Dissonance Resonators on the planet. You can shoot those and the sentinels around them with your ship's weapons instead of having to do it on foot and fight the sentinels. Because it is a pirate system, the sentinel ships will not attack you. The resonators will give you inverted mirrors or echo locators. You will need the mirrors to repair the crashed sentinel ships and to find them, you need the echo locators, which will find a camp when activated in your inventory. Activate the terminal in the camp. You also have opportunities for nice weapons this way as well. The crashed sentinel ships scrap for a lot of units and are much easier to repair than regular crashed ships. Best of luck!
I have heard this before, and it's something I will add to my "to do" list. However I think I want to try to finish the main quests a little more first. This is definitely a game that I want to "relax through" rather than "Push through", and I hope I can just keep playing that way. I really feel this could be a game that I am playing in years, just doing what is in front of me. I hope that is the case anyway. Thanks for watching, and thanks for the advice; I really do appreciate it.
It has some interesting mechanics. A bit too fiddly for me to play, perhaps, but interesting to see it in action.
If I manage a proper how to play, I think it will make a lot more sense.
Games that don't stress me out ... NMS indeed meets that criteria. Even has a lovely set of chill music. Aside from predatory animals, I have a load of fun on this game.
Hello
Hey, this was a weird video for you to find, but I hope you enjoy the different games on the channel.
@@BremSterGames yeah, i just ramdomly found it by searching in google
glad you're back :) - keep having fun!
so as far as I can tell the system before you teleported home is called Toigay-Olaga, the space station was near a planet called Osbyate V
Lol at opening the racist whytes cell but not the poor Mexican couple
Yeah - I tried to get an interaction point on that cell, but didn't see one; I was surprised that the game didn't give me a choice. I obviously missed it and I feel terrible about that.
dang, yeah, that emotional roller coaster kinda crashed
