I can't believe I am hearing this in the 70s. I didn't know anyone back then who spoke about things like this so I'm shocked this show did.
I have been watching alot of these old clips of WKRP, God I miss this show, everyone did such a wonderful job with their characters. I never realized Howard Hesseman had passed away, he was The reason I shopped around for colleges with a radio station program in there college correculum. I hate to hear that other cast members have past too!!! GaryBailey KingofDarkness
Love that $5 K-Mart rod and reel 😂.
I LOVE JAN...
an abortion is possible and legal but forgot to add murder and morally wrong
At 74 I found that I still like wkrp just as much as when brand new
I laughed, I cried. Perfect show. ❤
The writing is so superior to the crap we see in modern day sitcoms. Did all the good talent die?
Memories
Loved this show. Strangely, it was the one production MTM liked the least.
WKRP was such a fantastic show.
❤
Man, that show was funny
A rather different episode. We find out that Mr Carlson has an area where he really does well. His marriage. They are portrayed as kind, loving, thoughtful, and devoted to each other. A very positive episode.
Whats funny is that tiny fishing pole would not catch a large ocean fish...
Isn’t that a “wrist watch” Mana Carlson is wearing on her left wrist???
I don't think I've heard the song at the end of the episode---"Thank Heaven for Little Girls"---since it was originally broadcast. They always substituted something else.
Did anyone else notice that Gary Sandy didn't get a closing credit?
40 year's later im retired found a radio station ive went to college between classes got dj training now my dream came through
I was born in 67 , loved this show. Couldn't wait for it to come on during the week after getting home from school. 🤣👍 Good memories with it.
I love this album. When my godfather gave it to me, i was excited that the music was by Moose Charlap, a songwriter for the "Peter Pan" musical I had performed in in Kindergarten. I was stunned at the greatness of the "Whoop-Up" songs, and felt bad that the show had to flop, though Maurice Chevalier made a recording of this song. (I met Charlap's son Bill, who's a well-known jazz pianist and arranger.) Thanks for posting this!
Venus and that last song had me crying. 🤣
Love the show but the abortion rhetoric was awful!!
Evil female
It's a gift from God. How dare you decide if it lives. Evil
this theme song is so sad 😢
lol
Imagine if they made this today? The religious nutjobs would get so triggered they'd try to overthrow the government again.
Holy smokes, I never knew there were two different endings for this episode, two different songs were used along with a slight variation in the dialogue....
If the Dr. thought it was bleak then, Oh, my he's in for a shock. ;-)
I wonder what John Caravella would think of “Project 2025”.
As a native Cincinnatian....I have always loved this show!
I prefer Zebco with a graphite rod and some 30 Pond tests😂🎉🎉
And then in here enters Lonnie and everyone loses concentration❤❤❤❤❤
I've been a little bit around Broadcasting Anna caught myself some fish there is no The elusive Bonefish😂😂
Absolutely my favorite series of all time. I have loved it since i was a kid and i think as i age i enjoy it more and more. I hate to sound like the old guy but they don't make them like this anymore.
Such a witty and funny show with gags mixed with realism love it.
Really brings back fond memories of me and my grampa watching when he got home from working at the Cincinnati Enquire. That ole floor model. Man those were the best days.
Oh my God, Oh my God. I forgot a song that means almost the world to me. Just hearing it makes me want to burst into tears and Venus played it at 17:19. Commodores and I forget the name. This is why this show was so iconic. One of the greatest tv casts chemistries of all time and the unforgettable music. Thanks WKRP. You will always have a special place in my heart🩷🙏🏼😪
I worked radio, it's so much like the real thing. My on air name was Mad Mel.
this episode was mostly a turkey...but then an awesome bit between Jump and Reid!
Les, excuse us please, my wife is pregnant."..
Love Patti Lupone. Love this song. Sorry but i thought Wicked was obnoxious.
The casting on this show was perfection right down to how the Carmen actress played off of Gordon.
The giggles at 10:00 between Gordon Jump and Loni Anderson are just delightful. They NEVER overplayed the jokes. This series was a gift.
Loni Anderson. Hair. Face. Body. sigh. Oh and those hips wiggling!
Carlson’s wife is hot.
The big guy is a rascal.
The big guy did the naughty.
I watched this shoe everyday after school. The 80s were awesome!
"Excuse me Les, my wife is pregnant".😂
And, after getting the news confirmed, Les proceeds to do what any reporter would do-tell everyone he sees.
Jan is amazingly beautiful......
