You may be able to find a crochet version of a sofies scarf on youtube. I did see a couple that may look beautiful in silk.....as anything would...lol. Hoping Bean is able to remain part of the family. Does he have enrichment toys? Something to keep his mind busy and make him work for a few treats may help burn off some of his energy. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to seeing your shawl continue to grow.

I always try to keep in mind that "no" is an answer, when thinking about prayers. Sometimes He says no and there's always a good reason for it.

Sorry I missed your live dear. I was busy wrapping gifts. (For my (4 kids ) now 3 kids. (My oldest son Jeremy aged 40 died on July 6 th this year. It’s been difficult.) He leaves behind 2 young boys age 5 and 8. I get them this Christmas. There mom is on the streets. So needless to say it’s my job to ensure these 2 children have a good Christmas. Plus I have 3 other grandchildren and my daughter is dating a fellow with 3 children. Plus I have to get some baking started. And get things prepared for Christmas Eve dinner. It’s getting a little crazy around here.(15 coming for dinner).I hope you have a wonderful Christmas 🤶🏼🎄🎅🏼

the snow queen beret in the book Crochet ever after--is a pretty beret-- I made that one. it uses some post stitches to make a pretty pattern on it--- that puff type stitch does make a hat heavy--I like them both --I made a puff stitch beret by bag o day as part of bodhat appaloosa on mad mimi channel but uses some fluff yarn it made it very light weight

Remember that while the fiber wasn't expensive, your time is worth a fair price!
