Переглядів 26 тис.6 років тому
How to use the Bearing Greaser tool for your Can Am Maverick X3. Your application may be a little different if you have aftermarket parts, or a different SXS of course. They make them for specific models, so be sure to double check before you order. Here is the link to the Bearing Greaser Tool that I used: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07771NTH5/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Operation: Maverick X3 Build Part 1
Переглядів 8 тис.6 років тому
Starting to build the 2017 Maverick X3 XRS. Already have a few things done to it(evo stage 2, cat bypass, front/rear gussets, and other misc. items). In this video I install the Tusk Terrabites in 32x10x14(yes, i retained the stock beadlocks, why not?), as well as the Rugged Radios 60 watt VHF Radio and the RRP 6100 race intercom with the X3 mount and wire harness, and fenders and mud flaps by ...

Переглядів 2,6 тис.16 років тому
my wrx, im having trouble with launching/reaction time... speed 3, is having trouble hooking up, tried launching in 2nd gear but still same thing... wrx is the winner with a 14.10 1/4m
New to Sparks. would like to take this trip as well. have any details?
Any suggestions I cannot get that castle nut off used light-duty impact driver 3/8 in that will not do it I don't have a breaker bar try to torque wrench nothing works. Thanks
Get it off yet?
It’s torqued to 150 ft-lbs you’ll need a big 1/2” drive breaker bar... I needed using my giant torque wrench to break it loose
Which bearing greaser is that? Is that the Extension Depot one? Thanks.
What size is the castle nut?
right at 3:59 it looks like a 30MM
It’s 30mm for sure. Just did mine.
Cool Channel,,, we subscribed
Why would you put this awful music over the video when you're showing off the sound of the intake..
how many kilometers before greasing the bearings?
800 and every 800 KM 500 miles.
Can you tell us what the tourqe specs are for caliper and axle bolt?
what kind of grease ?
Mobil bearing grease from Vato Zone. The red stuff.
Lucas Red and Tacky
I’ve got the XRC too. Great machine !
Hank Slaght they are super nice and very capable
What city did you leave out of to go up on the dirt road have a name
Ya want beadlock in case of a roll over. Don't go any wider, you'll find many situations where you won't fit from our experiences.
I did use bead locks. Went with a 5-2
Pack the wheel bearings. Ours and friends were dry. UTV has the EZ to use tool. Also, some X3s have the rear brakes installed on the front mistakenly at the factory. -Jus' sayin'.
I did that In another video
Good video, looks like you put the concave washer on backwards though.
Thanks for the reminder. I forgot to mention that in the video. *after the video ended I was paranoid that I didn’t put it on the right way so I check it and it was correct. I just cut that part out lol
Checked*

it's amazing how people get so into buying something and miss the obvious
magnets don't work on aluminum tops any ways so good thing you did not get that
Yes absolutely lol. Most people unfortunately wouldn't think about that until its too late
Needed to take out the music..
So sorry for your loss he seemed like a wonderful man!
Amazin'!
what a great tribute for a great guy...he is sorely missed
what is your full mod list? any aftermarket BOV?
I recognize that road....you still at this place?
great song
@jimmy Duckworth - nope, no problems at all
Any problems with the intake? dope vid
why not show the actual intake, would help people who actualy have a real interest in this cai and want to buy one, instead of all the posers just saying, "WOW thats cool" and etc
Do you not know what it looks like
Again I got this intake not installed yet.. I know im gonna switch to the amsoil DRY FILTER when I install it though
Do you have a BOV ?
Thanks for this video. It really would help next time if you didn't include music during parts of the video where audio is the most important thing happening. :) Again though, thx
Hey there, I just installed my new cobb intake w/box about 1 hour ago on my 06 wrx. I already have invidia n1 race turboback and have reflashed to cobb stage 2. Everything works perfectly. Love the sound it makes when you accelerate and let off the gas. Sssssssshhhhh -- PPPPSSSSSHHHHHHH. Really brings out the stock subaru BPV nicely.
@shredthegnar299 i love it man, sounds awesome, cooler intake temps with box, and yea im running the cobb accessport stage 2 map
@f1u1c1k its with the silencer, i havent gotten around to taking it out yet...
@omgman1337 i have a 3" APS catless turboback exhaust...
@Srirachaa nothing right off the bat.... just seemed a little more responsive and the sound of it is nice...
@LoveMyZJ the song is by: Emarosa - Heads or tails? Real or not?
I know this is off topic, but whats the song you chose for the text parts of the vid?
I'm stage 2 with my 02, I just ordered the cobb sf intake. I currenty have the K&N SRI but that one sucks and I keep poppin codes. Do you notice any power gains from that intake vs stock? and is the acceleration smoother at all?
just installed this intake on an 05 wrx and the video sound is accurate. it almost sounds like a quiet blow off valve. if you want the sound of a BOV without the negative affects, this is the upgrade for you.
Sounds awesome! This video has sealed the deal for me; I'm definetly ordering this intake.
the sound of the intake is lounder, not the spool of the turbo... but the blow off from the intake(bypass valve) is considerably louder
there should be a little plastic piece that has grooves in it to hold them down, just like the stock airbox... if not, then just get some zip ties and tie them down so they arent bent and dont zip tie them too tight, just enough to hold them in place
good info, thanks man. you wouldn't happen to know if it works on a '99 gc8 wrx would you?
wow that is loud for just the intake. and are there any other mods to the car?
haha for real man shit
fukin noobs
oh yea and look at the steering wheel also jackass... notice the "subaru" logo? and not the "momo" logo? yea, 06... like i said, NOOB! dont say something or talk shit without knowing what your talking about
wow u must be high or something... because the 03/04's have the little spot on the center console for the cup holder... noob
thanks i appreciate it. check out my new video of Autocross with my WRX
no. as long as you have the supporting mods that the accessport says to have, then just load the premade map into your car.
the accessports is awesome, if you wanna save money on a professional tune. You will always get more power out of a professional tune though, but your looking to spend about 450 bucks on a COBB Protune. the accessport is kinda an "in between" tuner. but any shop that is COBB Certified can protune your accessport. oh and the "Check Engine Light" feature on the accessport is awesome. any CEL's you have the accessport will identify them, tell you what exactly it is, and it fixes the problem itself.
no i didnt notice any weaknesses/problems... in fact, it feels as if the car runs a lot better now. Ive had it on now for about 8 months or so. I love it, it sounds awesome as you can tell from the video... sounds like you have a Blow off Valve when u really dont. I just have my stock Bypass Valve. Plus COBB Tuning recommends this intake(of course) with any of their Maps on the accessport
