Some gasoline or liquid lighter fuel might have helped release the adhesive.

The hose with the connector attached on the canister. It won’t come out. I’m pulling hard asf. Any ideas?
Try to spray some WD-40 or other lubricant in there. Let it soak, and try to push it in and out and hopefully it comes out

@@YourFilmGuy I was wondering if maybe cutting it to from the beginning.. especially if you weren't keeping it? I dunno... Would've avoided wrecking the window seal too I suppose. You know what they say about the ol'. hindsight lol. Looks good now though
@@nathanchalmers2244 well I really wanted to try to keep it in one piece. But we see how that turned out lol. Not sure what you mean by cut it in half, that would risk cutting the sheet metal. And the seal was already dry rotted.

What is that glue called
How loud is it? I can't tell if you can actually hear it from a quarter mile away since it sounds like the mic is mounted on the bumper. I'm looking for something like my Techtonincs Tuning cat back which is only really loud if you step on it but I don't want something so quiet you can't hear it amoung the VQ's and Coyote shitboxes at the car meets lol
I don't think you can hear this from 1/4 mile lol. But definitely a noticable notch above stock. I hope this helps haha. Lmk if you have anymore questions . Oh and the mic is not mounted on the bumper. It's just on the camera that I drive by. 🤘

I did change Canister purge valve twice but still engine check light on keep coming, have something wrong with Charcoal Canister. Since have diagnosed this code" Evap canister purge regulator valve P0440" for my 1999 VW Jetta 2.0.

Does this fix an issue where when you pump gas the pas pump stops after .50 cents?
You ever figure it out ? Mines been doing this and stalling under 1/4 tank of gas

Where did you buy the replacement filter? What is the name of it or part number please
The little paper filter came with the new pump as an assembly. I'm not sure if you can just buy the filter alone.

if you have to do this again, or anyone trying use the nylon braided fishing line. alot stronger and has a little bit of texture to help "saw" at the adhesive

Heat gun doesn't really help remove polyurethane adhesive. It's not butyl tape. I ended up removing my spoiler with high test fishing line. Slow and steady..

I set my HPA Haldex controller to Race-Speed and I 1000% can recommend that controller. Even on a stock R. It's amazing.

You have to take out the battery in order to install it?
Yeah, unfortunately. You can't snorkel the intake through unless you take out the battery and tray.

I'd probably just have the body shop do the entire job. Spraying the spoiler while it's on the car is not recommended

How did you get off the black glue that held the original spoiler on? I'm in the process right now and I can't seem to find a way to get the glue off.
I'd recommend Scotch-Brite and some heat. If that doesn't work try a plastic scraper. We didn't get it all off but we got most of it smooth. Let me know if that works!

@@YourFilmGuy I think so! I’m picking up a MK4 GTI VR6 24V next Tuesday, and this exhaust upgrade is one of the first upgrades I’ll be doing to it! Sounds amazing in your video, 100 times better than stock! I actually have a MK7 GTI DSG right now, but I hate how boring and numb it feels to drive, so I’m switching to a MK4 manual for a more raw and engaging driving experience. I think I’m definitely going to like it better than my MK7, especially with this incredible VR6 sound!
@@iArcticFire oh dang okay, nice!! Yeah bro you won't regret this exhaust upgrade. Night and day difference from stock. it really wakes up the VR6. I was smiling for a week straight after I installed it. You'll love the manual. I agree with ya, it is and will always be a better driving experience/engagement!
