For me physics in AMS2 1.5 are fine.... people crying physics in IRacing, ACC, etc, .. are different, I say "Thank god" , We don't need another Iracing or ACC, we like AMS2 "as it is". If people enjoy physics in IRacing, stay in Iracing. if people enjoy graphics in RaceRoom, stay in Raceroom. PLEASE don't adapt charakteristics from other sims to AMS2. They update graphics, configs, performance... but don't change physics every update!!!!!

Ive been on AMS2 this entire week to remember what the physics and FFB is like now. Honestly I love it lol and i do love how the car can slide with that extra Inertia of letting go of the brakes by apex. I get why ppl cried about it but ill be honest man The trend of physics and FFB on all these titles are starting to merge. Everyone wants somthing easy to drive not to simulate =/

I also did a lot of rally before circuit racing and found AMS to be very comfortable for my driving style, so I'm a bit worried that 1.6 won't feel as good for me. I'm willing to adapt of course

Nice video! I really dislike sliding, so 1.6 might play to my style a lot. Will hopefully find out in a few days

Tested the F1 Ultimate G1 as you did but on Barcelona w/o chicane. I think I am in love with this car. Downloaded liveries and did some Practice with traffic. Its awesome also on 1.5. Cannot wait for 1.6 but I am a bit concerned that it gets too difficult like iRacing where I slide with F4 even when I do a tiny mistake.

How would you compare the physics of RaceRoom to AMS2 version 1.6? I enjoy RaceRoom's physics because the cars feel more connected to the road, and there’s less forgiving slip angle than in the current AMS2. However, I do miss AMS2's features like graphics, day-night cycle, and dynamic weather. I really hope the driving feel will improve in AMS2 version 1.6.

What overlay are you using to monitor tire temps?

Hey mate, i'm a beta tester. Road America and Sebring have been getting a thorough workout. Love the Brabham Bt62, Mclaren supercar, Rocco, Sauber group c, Mclaren Gt3 gen 1 with the TC on 1-2 or even off, Procar, USA gen 2 or '23, Formula Vintage gen 2, or Retro gen 1... I could go on...the new level of grip and most importantly the connected feeling for the road surface is fantastic in 1.6. All the cars are great to drive, the open wheelers are vastly improved.People are going to freak out. I'd gone off Ams2, was mainly playing AC and RF2 but this is a quantum leap forward for the title. It's almost like a new game. Can't wait to play all my best mod tracks as well when 1.6 is released.

AMS 2 should release as soon as, With Le-Mans and rFactor not doing very well, People in sim racing is going to need a different outlet so to speak, And for me AMS 2 is probably the best VR experience you can get, That is where AMS 2 shines by the way in VR, Even on my crappy Quest 2 and 12gb 3060, When the sun is going down on Bathurst I can't lie it do look amazing, I can only imagine what an i9, 4090 and a Pixax Crystal would be like, lol, I will be grabbing a Quest 3 soon as possible, I read the Quest 2 is going back up in price, lol, And the Quest 3 have sold nearly a million units in the last month, lol, I wonder how many are getting the Quest 3 for sim racing, lol, But yeah the future of sim racing is in VR simples, As soon as VR headsets become like glasses, Or at least like the Big Screen Beyond, But at a price everyone can afford that is, VR will take off like a super car, lol, Pun intended, I put a Air circulation thing on the Quest 2 and puts a tower fan on me, And VR is not an issue I can sit there for hours doing VR sim racing, And AMS 2 is addictive, One thing I am surprised that didn't take off like I thought it would, The Rally Cross update, But then I have not even tried the rally cross cars much, lol, Hey I got 15th on the Nords in a McLaren MP4/6, I was buzzing with that, lol, But yeah AMS 2 in VR is what will keep AMS 2 withing a bracket of keeping sim racers coming back, Since I done VR sim racing, I have not done any TV screen racing, lol, I am actually surprised to see people still using even triples, When the Quest 3 is meant to be bad ass, And you will be faster in VR than you would watching a screen, Even if it is like it is a wrap around, You look up and down and you still see your room, lol, Plus in VR you can see deeper into a corner, And if someone is the left or right, Plus please speak to Reiza about the points thing online, I have had races where I been crashed into within the 3rd corner, Spend 20 mins Qualys to be hit off track coz someone can drive the car, I had a bad experience the other night, All that cars seem to do was crash into me, I am even getting cars waiting to try race me while I am trying to get a fast Qualification time, I am thank full when the cars can drive through me, And I wonder if it coz they is on a flat screen or like one 27inch monitor., lol, All I know is I am getting a lot of cars crashing into me, So the online points system needs some work, I will put people off, Trying to race with people who is still learning, So to speak, Sounds like I am bashing sim racers but I am not, I spent the best part of 2 years practicing driving before I even started racing online, lol, I am weird though, I still do heel to toe in GT3 cars, lol, You can use more engine brake and not cause damage with heel to toe in my opinion, lol, I love it that I can still use the gear stick in the GT3 cars, lol, I am buying a sync adapter for my TH8S..... But yeah coz VR is so good in AMS2 it is keeping the numbers up so to speak, AMS 2 VR is addictive.....

I think I read that Career mode and mid 2000s endurance cars should be coming next year too. But to be honest, I have to wonder how the 1.6 delays will affect the DLC plans. There's a real possibility that the Adrenaline & USA DLCs won't make it this year. There's also next year's Brazilian Stock Cars too which are very different compared to now, it would be interesting to know what the devs' plans are about that since they release the stock cars for free every season Edit: since you mentioned Hyundai don't forget that they have an LMDh planned too, via Genesis

GT4 Cars would be amazing to get. New GT3s aswell. GT1 would be fkn mental if we get more :)

You need the DTM 92 pack, a WTCR for FWD they are great in Raceroom and a DTM between 13 and 16 All the better stuff in raceroom

Great video, but I wouldn't say this was a good car/track combination. If you raced on Indy, Milwaukee, Gateway, Iowa you wouldn't be full throttle like at Daytona. This track is too dangerous for Indycar in real life. 👍

I had my P1000's since last Nov, and they been amazing and couldn't be happier with them. I must admit - I was thinking of getting cheaper pedals at first - But I think a good set makes a big difference. So the cost well worth it.

Ams2 gt3's and gt4's both have a few cars that feel way better than others. Ginetta and bmw from gt4 and McLaren from gt3 class seem to stand out how the ffb feels for me at least. Rest feel a bit detached
