Downtown San Francisco Bank to Be Transformed Into Roller Disco for One Night Only
Hey fellas
The Chinese really know how to abuse the American Welfare system. Its so unfair. The Guatemalans living in RV's don't get 4 bedroom houses in SF for free
I just watched and commented on the original video. So glad they found housing!! I see SFHA decided to do something when they were confronted.. Good, one family taken care of, so many more to go.
This is a reality in CA, and I'm so sad to see it's still going on. My mom and stepdad raised me in SROs for a few years in CA, when getting housing was difficult for them. The problem with housing was bad then - and this was the early 80s. I left CA in the 90s -- and it just makes me so sad that housing is still an issue for so many families there.
I feel elated for them watching this video, after seeing their dire living conditions prior! I can not imagine how amazing they all must feel finally having a proper home !
I had no children AND WOULD NOT HAVE ANY INTO THIS... THEY WOULD NOT CONSENT... THIS IS GROSS

Not sure about his shaven head , he looks better with hair.
Are they imigrantes? Is USA better than China for them? Hope they are well now...
Greed had ruined all aspects of life.
At least they arent homeless living outside
Why not just offer homes on low mortgages, the SOCIAL SERVICES is wasted, family needs are more important to combat depression.
Why they go SF? Go back hk
... the sacrifices you must endure if the US is your destination .... they @ least have a roof over their heads unlike the thousands in the US who are homeless ..... not a good look time they moved back to China.
What a great result! It is a lovely home and I hope the children continue to flourish here and make their parents proud with their successes - be they academic or practical skills.
0:20 🥰
If i get some land do you want to come and stay with me
Not just poor family can be found in Chinatown, many poor families live everywhere in the bay area below poverty level and rely on welfare benefits. Why do they still want to leave their homes and continue to stay in their poor situations?
Yes that's a good idea happy new yr
Yes I think it's awesome so you won't loose your original license
Still living off of society - my parents got us out of a 1 bedroom apartment and into a house. We were a total of 7 and they did on their own, no housing assistance - ON THEIR OWN. No money, didn’t speak any English but still climbed their way up! These sad stories need to be shown with stories that overcame. Not showing both failures and success is not telling the whole story. Not all immigrants are pathetic - there are some that succeed and achieve the “American Dream”!
We lived in a one bedroom apartment, there were 7 of us. Both parents worked hard and long hours. They were able to buy a house in 5 years. That set an example to all of us. This was NYC in the mid 60’s. I get things are more expensive today but there’s a way out, if you want it. I’m sure everyone wants it but the difference is crying and complaining about versus actually doing something about. My parents did us right! Barely a penny to their name and now the American Dream is alive amongst my family. For $700 a month you could probably rent an entire home in other cities. SF is one of the most expensive cities in the US. As GOD puts it, I can only help those who help themselves. Seriously makes me scratch my head that they’ve lived like this for 9 years 👎
She has been there for over 8 years and she can't speak English?
End hybrid and remote works. Most are scamming. If they are public workers, cut them for fraud and hire new people who will come to the office. I work in healthcare and worked during the pandemic. COVID is just a super flu cousin.
I’m so so happy for this family thy seem such lovely people God Bless thm 🙏🏽🙏🏽 much ❤ 💐
My Chinese friend who was driving for Uber in the sunset area met John back in 2018-2019 and he didn’t know him at the time but John was talking about a high rise in the sunset. Chances are he was trying to pull another one to get more money. John was like “ hey! What about a high rise in the sunset?”
GOD BLESS THEM I AM SO Thankful 🙏 ❤️
PLEASE GOD PROTECT THIS FAMILY & HELP FIND THEM A BIGGER HOME AMEN
Bye Bye 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Even the lowest salary in SF or California can help you to rent a place with 2 bedrooms, a lot of immigrants opt to live in those conditions temporarily to save money and eventually open their own business.
Something doesnt add up about this being the best they can do for 700 bucks?
They lived there before their younger kids were born. WHY WOULD YOU HAVE MORE KIDS IF YOU'RE LIVING IN ONE ROOM???
To get to the front of the line for Section 8, duh
Back in the 80s when my parents moved in together, they just started by living in a garage, the a 1 room studio and slowly moving up until now that they own their house. In this economy, it's almost impossible to buy a house with inflation as a single parent. At the moment I'm renting a room with my toddler at my parents home. I pray that one day I can move up and also be a homeowner and my American dream comes true 🙏.
I lived in another country for almost 4 years and never took a single language class to learn their language BUT I did learn to speak the language during my time there. If you're an immigrant to any country, you need to learn the language IMO

Yay!!!!! So happy for them.
Great Video. Saw Foghat & Blue Oyster Cult in Bay Area in the 70's. No goats patrolling then.
So happy for them
Why so many children?
I love you
Merry me ❤
So happy for them
I'm happy for the family. 👏👏 I used to live in the Bay Area but moved to Texas 2 years ago. It's so much better here. There’s a big Asian community here. I'd suggest to get out of California. The public school is terrible.
This hurts my heart and brings back my childhood.... I hope those the oldest two kids turn 18 soon and start working to help out move into a bigger home. I PRAY FOR YOU GUYS. Someone start a GOFUND?
GOOD HAS BLESSED THEM 🙌🏽
