This is self-explanatory: If only one corporation owns all the bitcoin, its value is zero(*). That´s the power of bitcoin. It MUST be more or less spreaded into the market to be really valuable and this is the democratization of the wealth. (*) and then probably a fork will occur.

Took him awhile to explain but he's right; the difference between farmland and bitcoin is that farmland has the potential to produce food and b/c of that we assign value to it. We assign value to bitcoin not because it can produce anything but because we are pretty sure that we can sell it to someone else. But... shares of a company are exactly the same. You don't care about the company. Whether it's $80.00 a share or $800.00 makes no difference. What matters is how much MORE ( expressed as a percentage of course ) you can sell it to someone else. That buyer is buying because they think they can sell it to someone else for a higher amount. In the end, so much of our economy is driven by people's subjective predictions of how much other people are going to think "something" is worth. That could be Bitcoin, the Japanese Yen, crude oil, Apple or Google stock, what have you.

Based on the Oxy - Anadarko deal and the Charlie Munger interview to WSJ about Wells Fargo, this video was in the first week of May 2019, right before the Berkshire annual meeting that year. Becky often interviews Warren at the Berkshire offices before the meeting, but this one feels informal. For some reason they staged it like Warren is locking up the office and gets surprised by a camera crew. I haven't seen this one on the Buffett CNBC Archive before, thanks for posting.

Place your bet. You will know the outcome in a few minutes, hours, days or weeks. Sometimes you make, sometimes you lose. You do it long enough, you will lose everything.

I'd bet that the entire human condition could be broken down in terms of incentives. We are rewarded less for real cooperation than feigned cooperation. I could give my 2$ for coffee to charity. But I simply do not see any return, so I buy the coffee and pretend its not a problem. More money is access to better mates and food, so we get it however we can. But then, on big scales, it breaks over time. We have injustice and abuse, then eventually revolution. If we could work out that problem, then we could make enough food for the whole planet. For me, I guess I'll sit at home and text into a deaf internet. That aught to work.
